I bought this scooter from a local dealer about 3 months ago and it has been nothing but problems. I think i have most of it worked out now and its running smooth-ish but i still have no idea the actual name of the scooter. It is Chinese 50cc 139qmb on the vin tag I can see it was manufactured by a company called JMStar powersports. Any info you have would be awesome. Attachments:

JM Star is NOT Znen. It's most likely Jonway.

Thanks for the replies, this is my first time on a scooter forum. I think Jonway may be right, when I bought it the guy said it was a Sunny Retro but I can't find it any where on the net. On the sides it says MD50QT-12. I'm planning on doing a BBK on it and am looking for as much info on it before-hand, the plastic body work is the biggest concern I have since the engine is a 139QMB and they are all pretty much the same. Also anyone who has had on of these scooter please tell me your thoughts on it. I am not a fan so far it seems every time I get one bug fixed something else is popping up. Attachments:

Puma Romeo also. With the metal floor board covers and heal plates they usually go from $1,299 to $1,599 for the 150cc.

I paid 500 for the scooter and have about 150 more in repairs in it..plus quite a few nights trying to mend things..it looks great but im really not happy with the overall quality.

Buying a used scooter is a gamble since so many abuse them . It looks great hope you get the bugs worked out so you can ride it
