I try to use the nonethanol stations but they are across town . Here is a directory for some pure-gas.org/I also use Shell but mostly I go to Quick Trip sinbce its close by and I like to get a frozen drink or tea from them . I used to use AMOCO but the quality is not like it used to be . I prefer stations where each grade has its own hose . My lil scoot I have to put in gas with bursts since that piece it the neck makes it splash back on newer pups that have higher pressure than many older ones . I would not use a Coke bottle as gas will dissolve particles and clog up the jets . I have thought about taking some tip snips and cutting out that piece which is in the way

Do you have a pair of lights that work at the same time or one for hi and one for low ? On my Echarm it has a single main bulb but two little helper lights on the side that make the beam wider . I have a switch that turns them , the tail and dash lights off for some reason . Did the replacement bulbs have the same model number or at least the same wattage ?

I am guilty of riding with out a helmet in the summer and when I am not riding on a highway . I do feel so much safer with FF helmet , steel toe boots , leather gloves and bomber jacket on . I wiped out when I was 17 and my FF helmet saved my face when I slid across the road at 60+ MPH . Many newer helmet have more than one vent which does help a lot compared to non vented type . I have looked in to getting a skateboard helmet for summer use since it has many large vents and they are tough . I have seen a few with a foam bicycle helmet but these offer no protection .
In the rain and in the winter time a FF helmet keeps you safer , easier to see and helps you stay warmer than without .
Sounds like your helmet is too small . My GMax Platinum fits like it is tailored for my head .
A helmet is cheaper than a new face or head .
I love to have on the dark face shield so cagers can not see my face and I feel like a Storm Trooper LOL

I bought a 1157 LED for my tail light which uses a 1157 bulb at CycleGear . Most auto part stores have them but if they have a plastic body then can crack according to the rep at CG . Mine it metal and works great .
If you get LED blinkers you will need a diff relay for them

First you should remove and weigh your rollers to be a starting point . My lil 4T 50 had 8g rollers and I went with 5g rollers which helped on take off and uphill with the same top end . The 1k , 1.5k and 2k clutch springs can help on initial take off since they require higher RPMs to engage . Some replace the torque also called contra spring behind the clutch assembly to help it go up hill better . A performance variator is of larger in diameter and may have steeper ramps for the weighs to move upon . Here is a tuning kit with many diff weights to try enviromoto.ecrater.com/p/14177743/prima-roller-weight-kit-16-x-13 These are for testing purposes and may not last as long as others . Sliders do perform much better and last longer . I have Dr Pulley sliders in both of my scoots . Many like Koso sliders and variators . A size or two larger main jet in the carb will help it run better as they come too lean and need to be richened up some . Too light may loose top end just as too heavy may kill take off and uphill . It is easy to tune ether way , but I like to tune for midrange . Even .5g will make a diff in the weights . I would replace the belt with a Gates Powerlink or Bando since some come with a crappy belt that does not last as long as those do . When looking for parts search by " 139QMB " which is the engine type used in the 4T 50s in the China scoots instead of by brand and model of a China scooter . The best way to get more power is a BBK or 80cc crate engine . Here is some performance goodies www.scrappydogscooters.com/139QMB_50cc_Performance.html

I would trade it and then you could trade it for a real nice scooter . That big is too much to be a starter bike as it is light years more powerful than a scooter . First MC should be under 500cc . If you get it I hope you have health and life insurance . I had several growing up and the temptation to go over 100 is more addicting than smoking . This is why I got a 150 scooter instead of getting a fast bike and have a lil old lady cause me to wipe out with me zooming too fast .

The 50s do not put out as much power as a larger scooter with more poles in the stator . I hope you have a trickle charger around 1/2 amp instead of a charger for a car battery that has waaaaaaaay more amps than a scooter battery does

Compression should be around 120 PSI on a fresh engine . Yes running too lean ( more so on a 2T ) will fry the piston . Since you have it apart I would spend the extra and get a BBK which will also require upjetting but will put out more power and be more fun to ride . Many 2Ts use Mikuni VM11/22 main jets

My 2T uses the 788 belts since its a longcase . Yes if there is something wrong with your CVT a new belt can shred up very fast . A buddy bought a QJ instead of getting the Gates or Bando ( he did not have the extra money at the time ) and it only lasted a few days . He was mad and took it back to get a refund but was denied . He later bought a Gates belt and paid my dealer to install and the cause was his variator was bad and also needed to be replaced . With new variator and Gates belt he has been riding since this spring .
Mine came with a 788 something that I could not find the exact matching numbers but I got the 788 Bando from Scrappys and it fit just fine
