Im building a race GY6-150 motor for my daughters Gokart [see other post],So far I've got the following parts,NCY63mm BBK,6mm stroker crank,A9 cam with adjustable cam gear,NCY variator kit and Im using the 30mm pumper round slide carb off the current motor. im having trouble deciding if i should use a 4 valve head or go for big 2 valve?,it seems there is little info on the 4 valve heads and Im worried maybe thats for a good reason ??.Also havent found anyone selling cams for the 4 valve head? Also wondered if stock oil pump and starter clutch are up to the job or ?? Appreciate any help[from those that know],thanks

It might be hard to find different 4 valve head cams...
I don't think you will have any problems with the oil pump, the starter might have some problems to turn the engine over if the compression is too high. The actual starter can handle a good amount of load as long as you have good battery cables and cables to the starter. I change all my cables and after that I never had any problems starting it even with the high compression I had.

The big 2 valve heads are better than the 4 valve heads you get more volume draw also less problems. Alleyoop
