I should look into reconditioning a battery. I put a old scooter battery in a HB freight ultrasonic cleaner just for fun, well that battery has giving him no problems! I have done twice and both batteries have plenty of power now!

I'm swapping an used 50cc into a "WildFire 50cc", the stator has different connector ! My question is must I use a flywheel puller to swap the stator? Can I rewire the conector? ( cut and splice ) ?

I just found a Keeway Venus that has 39 miles on it! The guy wanted to make it 70cc but ran into hard times and really didn't know what he was doing, so his loss is my gain!
Do you think high temp RTV will work for the base gasket?

The scooter is a Linhai 50cc 4t qmb139. Its a "Taotao" with a few uncommon parts like the restricter in the pic. fuel sender bolts wit 4 bolts, and the starter relay is a plug like a "yamaha". The scooter runs the same with are without the restricter connected. I cannot get above 32mph, It's just "splutters" until i back off throttle even down hill. Do I have a restricted CDI?

Well I assumed I had a #35, but it was marked #33 and was pluged ! No matter what I do I can not get it clean! so I took a and picked up another pilot jet. The scooter sounded good until I put the seat on. Now its clogged to!
Is there a smaller "Micron Element" fuel filter That I can buy?

This scooter was sitting for a year with a busted clutch shoe. I replaced the clutch with a used one. I Clean the carb, drain the fuel ( see attach pic ). I tried two other carbs, changed the main jet to a , 82, . still no change! Is the stock #35 pilot jet too small if it starts and idles ok? Fuel comes out of the filter freely. Help! Attachments:

I just bought this engine, so i do not know if the air filter had a fitting. I don't have it on the other 50cc I have.

You are wrong! Good job. A real mechanic disassembles and inspects to determine what parts are needed. Throwing parts at the problem though you might get lucky is always the wrong answer. This guy is an Technician! He took the time to understand the how it works and why it doesn't work! Good Job Cloud!!!!

I have about 700 miles on the OEM belt! Has your belt gave you any warning before it broke?
