Anyone out there have the 20mm carb from scrappydog's? my question is: when you remove the diaphragm cover, there is the spring that sits on top of the needle. Shouldn't there be a small plastic peice(guide) that goes into the bottom of the spring? I didn't see one in mine. does the spring just sit on the needle? I seem to recall a guide in other carbs.

I bought one from them it doent have a guide its just like what you said. I wouldnt buy another one from them it sucked from the beginning I ended up buying one that was 19mm and it worked alot better and from what I see theres no differance in the throat size. The 19mm one only cost me $19.00 and $1. for an jet

I have bought two of the 20mm carbs local. the first one didnt have a holder for the needle just like yours! I found it under the diaphragm! Someone was in a hurry an did not care!!! the scond one the needle holder was right! Also the first one didn;t have a # main jet either It was a #72 I hope you get lucky and the holder is under it! like me
