I just bought this engine, and have no idea what hose connects to this nipple on the bottom of the transmission . Anyone know what its for? Attachments:

See if it is on the case or the cover. Some scoots have a hose from the bottom of the cover to the airbox.Also look at the airbox. Does it have a nipple with no hose? If so, There you go.

Does that nipple go into the belt housing area or toward the rear end gear housing? If it's going to the gears maybe it's just a spot to attach a collection hose when you swap the rear end gear oil. If not maybe supposed to go to the airbox like sailracer said.

I just bought this engine, so i do not know if the air filter had a fitting. I don't have it on the other 50cc I have.

I have one on my 1p39qmb it's a direction hose for draining gear oil. I have a piece of tube hanging from mine.
