Does India not also make the Stella ? The old Vespa 200 , 2 stroke 4 speed hand shifter , as they made them under license for Vespa for years , also I think they make one of the old British bikes now , just can't remember which one

The best penetrating oil I have ever found is called PB BLASTER , got it out of a parts store somewhere in the States on one of my trips. Gods gift to rusty bolts +1 on the PB Blaster....have used it for years Now about your screen name nakedguy......can't you change it to something less disturbing.....at least tell us you're not, while riding the scoot My name LOL I think I hear banjo music when I read yours .and I only did that while I rode to Sturgis on my Wing , Wyoming is such a empty state, and vitamin D is so important to good health

Nope, I still have one of the old nuts, the other one fell off on the road, the stand almost made me crash when it got loose If that is the case about almost getting road rash then everyone should either use nylon n lock nuts or drill and safety wire them , I have had that rash and it does not wash off

Yes, like Todd and Spandi said, take your bolt to a good hardware store and they will have a selection of metric nuts. If you don't have a thread gauge and you want to learn how to measure threads with a caliper or ruler, I will show you how.I appreciate that, I've visited several hardware stores already, but none of them have those nuts Not sure about CR but here in Panama , Speigals has the best bolt selection , are they in CR ?

Years ago I had a 900 Kawi , went great on regular fuel , went Super great when I mixed 1/2 100-110 av gas , not sure how our scoots would like leaded fuel though

We have 91 and octane fuel here, price is notince the difference for a full tank is just a few cents, which one is better for this engine? Well ricardo you could ride over the mountain to Panama testing both 91 and and I will buy you a ice cold Panama cerveza , that way you will know which one pulled you over that 17 miles hill

Geh3333 what kills lots of bike batteries is heat , cramped into a small place with no real airflow . If a person could direct some outside air around the battery they would not loss water from evaporation , or one needs to add a battery water level check to his weekly maintenance check over, look at your scoot and see if you could get a scoop to direct air onto the battery , as I am not sure the layout on your style of bike. one other thing if you need to glue a plastic scoop to your scoot or any plastic body parts , use baking soda and crazy glue , just fit the parts , lay a line of baking soda along the two parts and use the glue to wet it , it will never break there again , great stuff these two things

If it were me I would go to one of the racing suppliers like Summit and buy a fuel cell and mount it were the trunk would be , these are a plastic tank with foam inside to stop a fuel splash if you were to crash and have it break open , if its safe enough for NHRA approval it sould be good for use on a scoot

Well here is a business opportunity for anyone living near Hollister CA , go talk to the people at Corbin .the first thing I did when I bought my 650 Burgman was ride from Canada there and had a seat built , in fact it was the first Burgman seat they had done , they did not have any of their base plates so we stripped my factory seat to use it's base . I spent 7 hours there getting it fitted to me . The style of seat was called a gun fighter , mostly single person but could hual someone in a pinch , whats nice about that style is it gives you a bit of a back rest .now on the foam they use a injection machine and carve it to fit the owner if they are there , the ones you get when you just order online are not custom fit but 100 times better than any factory seat , when I had my Gold Wing I just ordered one thru a dealer and it was good , back to the foam , a good seat is hard , not plush like your couch , you never saw John Wayne on a plush saddle did you ? I asked a Honda dealer one time why wing seats were soft and and not firm like a Corbin or Mustang aftermarket seat , he said to me that most people would not buy one as they think a soft seat is a comfortable seat , it not until they try a hard seat do they realize that a hard seat is way more comfortable , it has to do with no pressure points , so if you live near Hollister you could be running a resale business for others on scooter boards

Pmaulew is that photo not of a 2 stroke muffler ? If it is that is a whole different ballgame as the engine fires on every stoke and they don't even have valves .they use a reed valve , like a little flat tin plate , and then the scavenging of this type of pipe would be needed

As a old drag racer I can tell you many hours porting and polishing heads , remember a engine is just a air pump , thats why there are better air filters , bigger carbs bigger cc kits , headers and free flow mufflers , you want smooth surfaces , nice easy rounded corners , take a chunk of tape , poke a 1/2 hole over it , put it over you mouth and try running around the block , you will quickly understand the air thingy

My thoughts , a engine is just a big air pump , more air in and more air out makes HP . I personally think that the pipe should be big from front to back , if you need back pressure it should come from the muffler , I remember seeing on expensive sport bike mufflers a bunch of thin plates that bolt on right at the outlet with washers between every plate as spacers , yhat way you could add or remove discs to tune the pipe for your bike , but that just my 2 cents

W42 , try putting on a larger fuel filter , I had the same prolbem and since I changed mine not a prolbem now , the stock ones work ok but are too small to hold enough gas to fill the bowl when needed
