Hi , as a old GW rider ,1985 1200 that I put 200,000 miles on please do a bunch of research on the 1500 wing . It was a pail and almost impossible to even give away , the 1100 was a good bike if your legs are not to long , the 1200 was good but also suffered alt prolbems , mine packed in in Oregon , loaded it into a uhaul along with the wagon I was pulling and girlfriends 600 honda shadow and hauled it up to Spokane , and had the crew at West Side Honda replace it , really good place , got it fixed , finished holiday and headed back to Canada . The 1800 is also great but very big .to be honest I bought a 650 Bergman and put a trunk on it , along with a bag across the back seat and the cave under the seat I had as much room for storage as my Wing , 1st year rode it to Holister CA and had Corbin build their very first Bergman seat , best investment you will make on any bike is to get a good seat , rode it to Arkansas to a maga scooter rally and tons of other places , to be honest the burger put the fun back in biking , corners like a sport bike , storage like a wing , and would beat my 1200 hands down everyday , in fact will beat any stock HD 1340 , but not a 1200 sporty.so before you lay out your cash think about the 1500 , Honda did not stop making them because they were too good .they stopped because they could not sell them .just my 2 cents

Sorry I do not have a photo of this but for you wild and crazy custom builders it is easy to picture .I saw a guy here in Panama that took a 150 twist and go motor and swingarm and weld it to a normal standard motorcycle frame maybe a 150 or 200 cc honda , yamaha , suzy etc .that had no motor , where the motorcycle engine use to be he weld expanded metal and uses it for a storage area , the day I saw it he was storing a 24 of beer in it , still had the motorcycle gas tank , handlebars etc , just really only moved a motor to the back .it was not the neatest job but it was impressive how he did it , so if you have a couple of parts bikes you might just want to make a motoscoot

Just some general info . I just switched my standby generator over to propane and got the kit from a company in the States called US carburation and they sell a small electronic tach about the size of a box of wood matches , it has 2 wires about 3 ft long , you bare one about 4 inches and wrap it around the plug wire 5 times and it gives you your RPM . Would be great for sproket changes . I think I paid $30 for it

Cool bikes . I had a PX 200 in Canada , loved the twist shift but mine was a 2 stroke , good bike , great power but a bit hummy for long rides , the vibration got to you after a while , would like to get the 150 ,4 stroke Stella someday, got to love a bike that carries it's own spare tire nicely tucked up under a side compartment

Tons of scooters here in Panama , and the normal motorcycle is usually under 200 cc , what drives most here is cost .for example the average girl working in a shoe store makes about $15 a DAY . A machanic or welder about $4 a hour . Yet your average Kotomi sunracer twist and go 150 cc scooter is $1400 . In panama city it would be the best thing for travel as traffic is bad . A million people in a city that should only have 1/2 million . Fuel runs about $4 US gallon

Just want to say hi to everyone , moved to panama almost 7 years ago and did not bring my bikes , miss some , but not others , should have bought my Burgman 650 and my 2 passports , whizzer , and 250 honda dream , but such is life . Found a motus supercub used 2010 with 143 km on it and the motus dealers says there is no more this style , then I found this site and the BMS Metro is the same chinese copy , have not put many miles on yet , no its not a honda but I have had good luck with 2 other Chinese bike I owed here for a while , just need to bring the speed up a little but also realize it is new as far as miles and might get better , my passports did 50 mph , this seems happy at 40 mph . I need to chat with cat about his changes. So if you ever ride your BMS to panama look me up , trust me I will be impressed , and it mght even be a world record . LOL
