We have 91 and octane fuel here, price is not an issue since the difference for a full tank is just a few cents, which one is better for this engine?

We have 91 and octane fuel here, price is not an issue since the difference for a full tank is just a few cents, which one is better for this engine? This is one of those issues that is very opinionated . there are many that say they notice a positive difference by using , and there are many that say they use 87 and see no difference in performance from the . There are also many that say the lower octane is dirty and clogs their jets . one thing I've noticed is that I have got bad gas a number of times while buying the lower octane but have never got bad gas while purchasing . is this just a coincidence , maybe . These scoots say to use + octane . now some will say that this is because they are produced in China where the fuel is rated differently , however do we know for sure that they kept the info on the plate for the US the same as for use in China when they change a number of things on the scoots to be able to run here in the US. I don't think anyone knows for sure . I use octane in my scoot and I have never had a problem . the person who owned the scoot before me used 87 octane and not long after I had it I had to clean the carb and eventually trash it . this could have been for many reasons like letting the fuel sit in the tank and carb to long without running it , however I did notice a good bit of dirt in the carb. there are many other diferent opinions about higher octane fuel like , higher octane burns slower and hotter . the reason i say opinions is because i have seen others swear that wasnt true , but when it comes to 91 vs you probably can't go wrong with either . If i had to chose which is actually better I'd go with . the only way 91 would be better would be on your pockets , which in this case is minimal.

Well ricardo you could ride over the mountain to Panama testing both 91 and and I will buy you a ice cold Panama cerveza , that way you will know which one pulled you over that 17 miles hill

This is one of those issues that is almost impossible for any of us to be certain on since non of us have the equipment to test which is actually better for these engines . therefore all we have to go on are experts on both sides who have claimed to do the tests and disagreeing with each other on their findings .

I always use . The higher the octane the more pure the gas. 87 octane has many additives in it for to days cars. The additives can cling to the jets and plug the up.

Years ago I had a 900 Kawi , went great on regular fuel , went Super great when I mixed 1/2 100-110 av gas , not sure how our scoots would like leaded fuel though
