that is the traction weight it was designed to handle well in high speed on snowy curvy roads . When the cow is removed you can not operate above 20 kph and must slow to 10 kph for turns .

Guys I'm with rcq92130 (cute avatar) , you had some problems with this engine , I bet you squeezed the head gasket several times .I would at this point like to clear the job , don't let a $5 gasket hang the job . As for the hone tool I got mine from harbor freight , I got a brake hone . They are smaller and fit in the jug , I checked at the time if the material that contacts the cylinder walls were the same for both the larger cylinder hone and brake hone and they were . John

Jerry , I would have overhauled the clutch and variator . I would have flushed out the old grease with fresh grease . Cleaned the the pulley sleeves and greased and pivot points . Sand the pads and bell , Clean the variator , grease the crank and clutch shafts , Lightly grease the boss .
Then you know everything is fresh and moving nice .

I've often wanted to play around with the idea of using TMGs to harness the engine heat to generate electricity instead of using a stator. I build Stirling engines as a hobby, and a TMG is basically a Stirling cycle. Probably be too heavy to make it worthwhile, but even smaller systems could at least charge the battery, taking that load off the stator/engine combo. I have some Peltier thermochips here I have been wanting to attach to my muffler to provide electricity for heat and air conditioning on a bike or a car. You can put them in a suit or blow air over them. These are the same chips found in electric heater/cooler units. I have been keeping that under my hat but if people are interested in experimenting I would be glad to discuss it. JerryScript A drop more info on this please ! What is the cost ? John

thats a 150cc carb no pump . However i think its a fuel problem . and Jerry is correct leave the throttle alone . squirt some fuel in the vac line and see if you can crank it started or get a short run .

mentioned earlier was the HZ. i think dmartin95 was curious. as they sit hz is going to very with the rpm. one full rev of the engine is also one full cycle of the wave form. even on the three phase each leg will only get one cycle. that said, unless these regulators have some way of controlling them the Hz on these should match the rpm of the engine, and now i have to wonder about portable gens because any loads makes them go full throttle (mostly for current i know) but are they 60Hz or are they higher? i know 60 is the household norm but maybe as long as it's at least 60 most things don't much care Damn it man this just keeps getting deeper LOL. the above is off a little , it would be 2 to 1 ( on a 4 stroke ) the crank does two revolutions to one of the cam . The fact that the magneto is mounted on the crank . As humans we over complicate things . John
