My 50cc GY6 goes great with all the simple changes i have made. My nephew is giving me a KLR650 and as ive broken a lot of bones 27 years ago in a parachute accident 8inches suspension travel front and rear is the best road rocket for me and in my country i can ride it on a learners licence
my first post accident scooter was a RM125 with a Mini Chopper motor 4speed 72cc no speedo a friend clocked me doing 60kmh in second gear the Police stickered it off the road but comfortable Scooter rode it for 3 years

grinding clearance nicks in the lugs would seem to be the easiest fix. I weigh 130kgs i have broken the seat on my brand new T3 GY6 i got another seat and broke that too. Happens on speed bumps cause I dont slow down and my weight is a factor. The dealer said they warn people who intend to ride two up the seats are weak.

Hey, the scoot did it again, have more info this time it did not start (except with starter fluid) not even hours later, meaning its a fuel problem. i thought it was the fuel pump so i looked at the lines, i found that the hose clamp that was suppose to be on the end was on the middle of the line between pump and carb. I didnt think anything of the clamp in the wrong place so i pulled off the line to test the pump, and cranked the scoot, fuel shot out of the pump. i put the line back on correctly and she fired up. so whats going on here. would the clamp really pinch off the line to the point it would not run at all? or did running the pump without the hose on it blow out some crap, trapped air or something and make it work again? If it runs right from here on you may have got to the bottom of it. Want to get to the bottom of this, so it wont happen again.

I have an advancing CDI that comes on around 3K and is retarded for starting. I have 3 performance CDIs that are fixed from the get go and was creating hard starts and kickbacks on me messing up my Starter Clutch. I got the advancing CDIs TWO of them from JOHN(TVNACMAN). If you miss the little extra power and want easy starts I recommend the Advaning CDI I got from John. Pm him and he will set you up. Alleyoop i agree and theres another thread round here supporting this and moving the CDI out of the battery box

sure you motor is overheating its running in. Batteries get hot when charging and CDIs get hot too I shifted my CDI out of the battery box away from the heat of the battery and it run cooler by feeling it by hand

My thoughts on this matter are no two 50cc GY6s will have the exact same mph. Casting flaws in parts like pistons and intake manifolds sometimes can or cannot improve performance. The law in my country indicates that it is ok to have 62cc but it cant exceed 30mph. My country has a law that indicates if domestic violence happens round my place I have to report it and if another party reports it I can be fined heavily too. If they deputise our smart phones we are all doomed. I do not condone violence but am indicating the law could change like that on other matters Sure i dont know the size of my engine i havent had the head off but it cant exceed 30mph and if it can there is enough evidence that the speedometer is inaccurate k

A9 cam

i have read that the A9 has more lift than the rest. my thoughts are the head with the longer valves would be best to use with a hi lift cam and the stock head would be ok on a engine in good condition
