What's your best most detailed easy to understand wiring diagram, beside what is in your head. Really need to do some cleaning. Been riding bare for about two years now. Only essentials. Some wires that can be removed and go in and wire it more efficiently. Trying to figure the best way to attack Gy6 all day 150cc

Thanks guys for all the info, it looks like my best option is taping or rethreading. Do you think lowes would sell anything like this?

So brand new cylinder head right, bolting on my muffler and I strip the threads right out on one side ?. I know it's aluminum so I should have been careful but i don't feel like I was cranking that hard on it. I was using my old bolts on it too so maybe it got angled without me knowing. Either way I sound like a chopper coming down the road, and it's not a good feeling haha. I also should invest in a torque wrench. Now, do you know of any good metal glues or cements that I could glue the bolt down Into the head with? I feel like if I can secure the bolt in the head then I should be able to secure the muffler without out it sounding like a chopper.

No big bore kit just a new stock cylinder head. As it turns out I didn't buy the little exhaust ring gasket with the new one so I pulled the old one out and used it but it's not in the best shape and the bolt that just sticks out the top of the cylinder was not tighten. Those two things and she's back up and running!!

So I can get it running, it actually sounds pretty good. A lot quieter then it used to run. But it takes a while for it to catch. And it will continue to run. But when I try to start it again the turn gets slower and slower. Even though I just pulled the battery off the charger. I charge for about 30min til green and the same thing happens. Cranks first time, but won't after that.
Could be that my battery has gone bad?

It's the ground that always gets me! Eventually I'll learn, I'm gonna follow the other wires to your specifications to make sure.

Ok so I got the magneto back off and looking at the wiring. Previously: The new connectors didn't fit my wiring on the scoot. So I cut the old connectors and just wired them to the new magneto. All the colors match except for one wire. i.imgur.com/BSDmEbH.jpgOn the scoot I have; green, yellow, white, RedBlack, and RedWhite. Off the magneto I have; green, yellow, white, RedBlack, and BlueWhite. I connected the BlueWhite to the RedWhite. The smoke that I saw earlier was definitely the green wire. It melted some insulation. i.imgur.com/rLlEFUu.jpgIt seems pretty obvious that I wired something wrong. Just not positive which.

It's a bumpy road but I'm slowly getting there doing a rebuild on my engine installed a new stator/magneto. Going to start up and it has a hard time spinning ad now there's smoke coming from behind the flywheel. Looks like electrical smoke. Gonna pop her off and take another look now, anybody seen this before?

What's the best way to remove the bolts that hold the intake manifold and muffler on? I bought a new cylinder head but didn't buy new bolts, trying to use the old ones. i.imgur.com/B3EwYFf.jpg
