See if you can figure this one out:
So got the fuel gauge all wired up only problem is when the tank is full the gauge doesn't show full, it's still missing 3 bars. It registers the fuel and it goes down slowly as I use it but obviously shows empty way too soon when it's only really between 1/4 and 1/2 empty. I've contacted the seller and it did come with instructions online. Unfortunately, communication is difficult. The seller just referred me back to the instructions.
So here they are: Fuel gauge installation and debugging methods: 1. Connect the positive and negative pole to power supply correctly. 2. Turn on the electric door switch, fuel gauge displays a grid of red, and then connected signal line to the negative pole. Wait for a while, LED light will all light up slowly, indicating normal operation. 3. Connect the signal line, fill up, slowly adjust the potentiometer to make all the LED lights on. When oil runs out, slightly adjust potentiometer so as to make only one red LED light on. Please note: The original fuel gauge can not be used together
There's no elaboration on the part where it says adjust. I've tried pouring really slow. Touching the signal wire back to ground. It will slowly go up to full but as soon as I let off back to the old reading.
I'm lost here,

Got it! I had to ground out the signal wire then put gas in the tank. Is that a 120v light switch ? Lol You bet it is, that's what gets this baby going!! Lol I ran in to a guy the other day that had a crocodile skin seat cover. He told me that all of his bikes have a reptile skin on the seat. Interesting guy for sure!!

So here's where I'm at now got it all hooked up it powers up nicely. RPM green wire to black yellow wire from Cdi. Works great only thing now is my fuel reading doesn't seem to be working.
Stock fuel sensor: black(power) yellow (fuel), and BlueWhite (?)
New fuel sensor: red goes to black power. Black goes to ground. Green goes to Cdi and yellow goes to yellow. What of the BlueWhite?

Yea I was wondering what it was too? It looks like one wire (second picture) but it's actually two wires (bottom left 1st picture) Well its a variable resistor to calibrate or tweak one of the functions,I bet its for tweaking the RPM.If you have a small engine shop near you with a good clip on gauge you could calibrate your new one to it is my guess. Oh ok i see, but for everyday use I can just let it hang I don't really need it hooked up to anything?

I bought a RPM gauge from eBay to help me do adjustments and general maintenance on the scoot. Just don't know where to wire it up exactly! Haha Here's the gauge: Anybody ever used this gauge?

To best of my knowledge, did you see the video? Is that too much wobble?

Put a new contra spring in and now the driven pulley wobbles when the belt goes around. When I accelerate and the pulley expands it starts making a scratching noise.
What did I do?

I like it!
I can probably find someone who can weld. Or I can just by me a little spot welder right? Price not too bad?
