Hey, if it works, it works. I could see putting pegs higher up on my little scoot, as I sometimes haul stuff on the floorboard for a couple of blocks. A 30 pack fits there perfectly with straps

I get visions of pivoting on those pegs. How is the clearance on turns? I would scrape those on every turn if they were mounted on my little Tank 150cc.

I took a heat gun and removed all the stock stickers. The scoot looks much better. It didn't help that the Chinese stickers were applied crooked. I thought about alternate stickers, but it looks pretty good clean.
Not sure I would worry about the cops. It is more how you ride, than the stickers you have on your ride. I like the idea of going flat black. No reason not to customize if it makes you happy. Just lock it up.
Keep us posted on the seat recover. I will have to do that next season. This is the last year for the seat I have I suspect.
I thought of painting my skins flat black if I have my seat done in black. That would make the scoot flat black with red accents.

So the safe thing is load first, then start the sucker up. Easier plan, no strap to take with me.

A strip of Velcro (like the cable tie type) could be handy to hold down the brake in this situation. I may give it a try, as I do warm up my scoot as I load it also. Thanks for the warning.

Most gas stations have a single hose to dispense the fuel, and 3 buttons to select the octane. Most people use regular gas in the U.S. so the pump is usually primed with regular gas from the last user. My tank is 1 gal. I get about 1/2 regular octane gasoline, and half premium octane gasoline. It is a bit frustrating. I now put a gallon of premium in my truck, then put a gallon in my gas can. It is a bit of a pain. How do you folks handle this?

On TV when they razz Gary Busey for his crazy rants he says "Give me a break, I got hit by a truck." Close enough...... He actually was in a single vehicle accident and hit his head on the curb. From the New York Times: Gary Busey, Actor, Is Badly Hurt in Crash AP Published: December 5, 1988 The actor Gary Busey suffered severe head injuries after losing control of his motorcycle today, the authorities said. Mr. Busey, 44 years old, of Malibu, underwent two hours of neurosurgery this evening, said Ron Wise, a spokesman for Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Mr. Busey's work in the title role in the 1978 film ''The Buddy Holly Story'' earned him an Academy Award nomination. No other vehicles were involved in the crash here, 10 miles west of downtown Los Angeles, a police spokesman, Sgt. Gary McEwen, said. The police said he was not wearing a helmet when he fell off his motorcycle at 11:40 A.M. That is why I added "Close enough..." after that incident I doubt if he knows how he got hurt ;-)

I did an online search. One idea is an old speaker magnet attached to the bottom of the frame. The commercial products don't have good reviews. Magnets, being ferrous, will rust, and cause your frame to rust. Not so good.
I also found out in California if a stop light is not operating, you can treat it as a 4 way stop. That is at least two cycles of lights without your scooter being sensed by the loop or camera.
A motorcycle cop says, for the camera systems, it is best to weave slightly so the camera operated devices can see your movement. Also flashing your lights 50 yards back will trigger the camera systems at night.
One guy put a magnet in the heel of his boot and he steps on the loop......
Most of it looks like JuJu.
Staying to the side of the loop where it connects sends the strongest signal according to the traffic engineer web sites.
It also appears as many as 25% just don't work at all.... Always have an alternate plan.

I saw a bit on TV regarding the inductive loops that control most stop lights. As you know most of the time a scooter does not trigger these to change the light. There are some lights I just avoid for that reason. Sometimes I just have to turn right because the light will not change.
The TV show suggested adding two very strong magnets near the bottom of the frame and a ring of copper wire around the wheel rim. It worked.
I am skeptical...

I took my seat cover off to repair a split seam. They are really junk. It is the thinnest material possible for a seat. They cut the material so close there is barely room to repair a seam. A seat like mine is $44 on eBay, so no big deal next time a seam splits I will replace the entire seat, or just make a seat cover of better material myself.
I can see why the guy was tempted to repair his seat with blue duct tape.
