OK I solved my own problem by ordering a new switch assembly. Today I found www.partsbmsmotor.com. Factory parts for BMS scooters! $24 for the exact repacement.

I have a BMS Chelsea 150. The chinese plastic in the right switch assembly broke and is useless. The right side has the run/off switch and the starter button. I ordered a new switch from the internet. When it arrived, other that being a tad larger, i found that the old one had a 4 pin connector (pic 1). The new one is a 5 pin(pic 2), with 2 other loose wires (which I think go to the brake switch). On the original one...those two wires are seperate going into the steering column. Can this switch work? wiring is not my thing

Looks like we have similar scoots. I installed this Tach about a year ago. Works great!

My BMS Chelsea came with a Steel Mate alarm installed. The alarm part is kind a useless because it is too sensitive, even when turned all the way down. I do like the remote starter so I can keep the key in my pocket. It came with no papers but found info on the internet. Mine is mounted in the engine compartment under the seat. if you have the same kind... I can try and chase the wires.

sounded like mine until it came to the no spark. When I fill my scoot with too much fuel... it doesn't vent properly and the vacuum petcock doesn't work properly. Acts just like yours... just I still have spark
