i have a # main jet in there right now, is that ok? or do i need to put the jet in? how do i know if its good or not (because of the screw??) and where can i obtain a new pilot jet at a relativly good cost? mabey a multi pack or somthing? this bbk has turned into a expencive and time cosuming deal everytime i turn aroundim buying a new tool or part that sets me back another 20$ how bad is it if i ride around like this for a week or so? will my engine explode or something thanks chris5527 i set the clip on the neddel to the very bottom slot (is that good or bad didnt seem to do much) try raising the needle a notch or 2 and see what that does. Its possible its juat the opposite and your getting to much fuel. Do that and report back.

Your 139QMJ motors usually come with 15/52 gearing. To get more top end speed you go up on the Counter Shaft Gear 15teeth to 16,18 etc.. and go down on the Final Drive Gear 52teeth to 50,48 etc,,. For a stock motor no matter what size I recommend only go 2 up and 2 down so you do not loose your acceleration. Alleyoop sounds good prob gunna pull them next weekend and get a count and make my order.

You need to know what gear ratio you have before you buy gears. Different scooters have different gears. (Models/10"-12"13"wheels). Plus your weight your riding style and area. I have the 12" wheels its the 2013 taotao cy50t3 model.

Did you check for vacuum leaks? Trace all your lines and make sure there are no cracks and all the lines are secure and tight. Also have you tried adjusting the needle in diaphragm on the top of the carburetor? Might need a tweaking there also.

16/50 does a decent job but the hoca sets yield more performance but also cost more I got the biggest gain with the 18/46 set may have got a bigger top speed gain with 17/41 but didn't want to lose hill climbing and torque. yeah I definitely dont wanna loose torque or hill power just wanna bump on the top end a little.

These tachs are great and install in five minutes I have one even though my instrument panel has a built in tach. As far as best gearing MILLSC should be able to help with that he has done many gearing. Alleyoop www.trailtech.net/digital-gauges/tto?cat=117 order placed thank you

Stupid laws here require this little bike to be registered as a motorcycle thus needing emissions inspection. Having clean air being sucked into the exhaust seems to be the best way to go. Just can't find egr heads unless its a stock model do you have a buddy in a shop that can "inspect" it for you?

so just a little update for anyone who might be following my build, i GPS verified 45. today I think she still has more in her though it wasn't a very long straight away. I am very pleased with the build so far and will be ordering Gears as soon as I can. I also think after more break in a little power should come with it

it's a bit long if you want to watch the whole vid but if you watch from the 5min mark you'll see the part that i believe needs adjusting. assuming the diaphragm isn't ripped then adjusting the needle up or down will/should cure your mid-throttle range. thank you ill check it out. the diaphragm is good had it out today thinking it might have a pin hole but checked out fin ill try lowering the c clip a notch and see if that clears it up. Thank you sir.
