With the brakes on it will not have enough power to break away . My hot rod 2T can pop a wheelie . In the grass or dirt I can do a long burnout without holding the front brake lever so what about being able to hold it in one place with one foot? Iv never been on a scooter that I can hold in one place I had a old atm50 that was on its last leg and I still couldn't hold it in one spot but when I say this bike has no power I mean NONE lol

And yes if you hold the brake and try give it throttle IT WILL BOG the motor has less than 3 horsepower that is normal, you can do that with just about any scooter. Ever use a lawnmover or snowblower same thing you hit some really tall grass with the lawnmover and it will bog same with a snowblower go and push it against some good amount of snow and they will also bog and they are like 8 horsepower. Alleyoop ok well in that case the variator has no restrictions.asfor the reves iit's still just doesn't sit right with me my taota t3 revs up like a raped ape no matter what I do but this bike if I so much as push on the back with 30 pounds of pressure its not moving. like I said I can hold this bike in place with one hand.

It does not take as much power to spin the wheel while on the CS compared to propelling it . Remove the CVT , stand on the opposite side and rev it up a lil while on the CVT to see how it engages . Worn or missing ( they have been know to fall out on some ) will not allow the belt to get pushed out all the way ill try that tomorrow but still dont understand why when I hold the break it just bogs out and has no power. I can hold the bike in one spot with ease with my feet at wot lol

I would think the weights and belt are worn out too . I would do a compression test as being that old it may need new rings . My buddys Elite takes off like a forklift very fast then slows down around 20 and tops at 30 . It is stock . I put 1.5k clutch springs in my 2T and wow takeoff was so much better as the springs engage 1.5k higher of RPMs than the stock ones . I had an Elite when I was young and it had more pep than my Tomos Bullets ( pedal mopeds ) , same top end but it went faster uphill . I later bought a hot rod Spree with a 90cc engine man it was a beast . I never had a single issue not even a bulb going out . Take a look at the clutch pads to see if they are worn or glazed up . With a 2T I always prefer to run rich than dead on it . A tuned pipe , upjetting or larger carb can do wonders once you get the jetting dialed in . Hondas usually have a Mikuni oil pump which should last forever . Just hope the oil tank does not leak as they will crack with age . I had Honda Express , Urban Express and Yamaha Towney and never had any problems other than tires wearing out . The rest of my moped collection were the pedal types like Tomos , Puch , Garreli and Motobecane which were premix of 50 to 1 or 3oz per gallon . A new NGK sparkplug can also do wonders . I opt to get the NGK iridiums as they fire better and not as likely to get fouled out by oil build up . The weed eater oil can do this as well as smoke all the time . The synthetic blend and full synthetics smoke at start up as hardly to none once warm and less likely to foul the plug as the cheap oils . just ordered a belt I was also thinking it might be stretched do to age. But the thing that kills me is it sounds good and revs high on center stand but then if I hold the back break and gun it it bogs and gets no revs at all like it has no power.

Does it look like this between the fan and variator? If so you need to buy a unrestricted Boss. Alleyoop Unrestricted Boss: no its on the opposite side its on the side with the slide plate and it part of the crank shaft itself its it sits right in front of the crank seal.

would the washer and other restrictions cause it to do 15mph though? It will not got a touch over 15mph lol when I say its a turd I mean it lol Check it out and find out, restricted it should do close to 30mph so first take the Variator off and see if it has a washer then check the weights, they may be flat as a pan cake. Being that old it could also be the belt all worn down .How are the RPMS when your riding it do they rise up nice and high or not. If not did you clean out the Air Filter and adjust the carb, running RICH it will loose a lot of power. Also is it smoking a lot or just some smoke. To much oil and you will also loose power. How about a Video running it. Alleyoop ill get a video after work tomorrow afternoon. It seems to rev fine good and smooth it just has no power It is by far the slowest thing I think I have ever rode on lol my mower on rabbit would murder this scooter haha all kinds of sound and no go.

That scoot comes restricted so here is the poop on it. Alleyoop The Elite S was restricted via a washer behind the variator, a smaller main jet and a highly restrictive exhaust. If you are going to de-restrict one, you should also know that the restricted Honda-Elite-SR-S-USA version has a different throttle cable that does NOT open the oil pump like the full speed version. Accordingly, the oil pump just runs at the set idle level at all times. If you derestrict yours, you can either run premix, replace the throttle cable with the regular version cable that ‘Y’s to open the oil pump or you can zip tie the oil pump to the wide open position and raise your emissions and oil bill a bit. would the washer and other restrictions cause it to do 15mph though? It will not got a touch over 15mph lol when I say its a turd I mean it lol

Also I should prob add that the bike sat in a barn for a long period of time without use so needed fresh gas and oil and fired right up.
