Some scoots may be able to go 10mm wider if the have the clearance but many the only option would be sidewall height . Here is a visual calculator to compare two diff sizes tire calculator If you have scooter tires at a shop in town ride over and compare the sizes against each other . I am unsure if yours can or can not go up 10mm wider . At Cycle Gear they will only go up 1 size from the OEM tires . thank you sir

tank looks clean the gas comes out clean. It must be the fuel pump. I tried to blow a little air n clear it hooked back up the lines but no gas floes. Any idea how to fix the fuel pump? P.S. Is the fuel pump also known as the petcock? Should I just replace it? yes sir its the petcock you can get them cheap on eBay or get a manual one from a parts store. If you go that route make sure to shut it off when not ridding so you dont flood it.

You must of not read the write well enough. It takes many many years to become good at things if your willing to learn. Remember you have 4 basic systems that any motorized vehicle needs to run and move. Each system has many parts to make that part of the system do its job. A good mechanic needs to know each system and each part within that system. Then knowing the symptoms each part can cause is the key to Diagnose which system is causing a certain problem. Then it is just a matter of testing each part of the system to find the culprit. If you do not know the symptoms a part can cause you are just a part re-placer. Alleyoop ill go back and read it again im still in the learning stage on these bikes myself, just seemed like a good place to start being that the bike has sat and anything floating in the tank would migrate south. It was just my 2 cents.

I have a 2008 TGB 49cc 101S off road sport scooter. It sat for a year in storage and now won't start unless I spray some carb spray in the air cleaner. It just seems to not get fuel. I bought a aftermarket fuel filter and gas won't go into it. The Scooter has 1100 miles. The battery is fine. The carb might need cleaning but I'm not sure why it's not getting gas. Gas is been changed out with new. Lines look good. Not sure if clogged, but I will clean the carburetor. It ran fine last year. Do I need another fuel filter? What are your guys thoughts? Please help. Thank you. have you checked the nipple on the tank to make sure it wasnt clogged and not allowing fule to flow in the lines?

NO, read what he is saying He has to turn out the Fuel Ratio screw out to where it is almost falling out IN ORDER FOR IT TO EVEN START AND IDLE and it is backfiring. Backfiring is a LEAN condition many think the opposite that it is a rich condition. Alleyoop ok I see now thanks for clearing it up sir. Op you now know you need a bigger piloted jet.
