the look. Thats the one and only thing im after here this bike will be ridden at car shows and similar events. I will also be stretching the bike in the near future. Like stated on the first post the bike isn't NOT a daily driver its a toy. Here is a pretty cheap stretch kit with fat tire. m.ebay.com/itm?itemId=160972609333 that particular listing has ended and I dont see any more listed on there so if you come across any more link me to them sir

I have to ask why lower a scooter. It is not a '57 Chevy, and only has 6" to 8" ground clearance on a good day. Take a usable machine and make it so it can't clear a speed bump or a large rock? What am I missing? Is there an attraction to lowered scoots.... I don't think so, but am usually wrong. the look. Only thing I've seen is that shock mount lowering bracket you mentioned, and it is expensive for a chunk of steel. Please post if you find other solutions, I would very interested! ill have some time to play with it this coming weekend and see what I can do ill keep you posted for sure.

Ok fellas I have a new quest, and that is to lower the t3. I have heard about the triple tree trick for the front end but what can I do for the back end? I seen ncy makes a bracket for it but I cant see myself spending 60$ for a piece of Steel I can make myself. So does anyone have any other ideas? This bike isn't my daily to rough bumpy ride isn't really an issue the scoot is my toy lol.

I would go with the CR8HIX..it is a much cooler plug and the 50mm BBK's tend to run hot.. The 7 range pugs do ok for stock engines..but I see lots of BBK's overheat with them due to the higher compression ration of the larger cylinder and power they produce.. Glenn sounds good ill be making a trip to parts store in the morning.

45mph is pretty good. my atm50 does about the same with a 50mm BBK. you could try different roller weights but i doubt you will see much improvement. i've experimented with numerous weights and 45mph (52 indicated) is the best i could get out of it. think you will need to change the gears if you want more top end. thanks for the reply so I guess I shall save my penny's for a set of hoca gears

Ok im running a 2014 taotao cy50t3 with 50mm bbk, a9 cam, perf coil, perf cdi, uni filter, keihin carb with 95mj, and perf variator with 5g roller.here's whats got me confused on flat ground im hitting 44.78mph and not a touch over but on a very slight decline im getting 48. what do I need in order to hit that 48 on flat? And when I say the decline that is giving me this speed is slight I mean slight it is barely noticeable. Im thinking a gram heavier on on the rollers but figured id get your inpute.
