What I've heard lightly shafer sand the ports and piston. At least a good 19mm carb. My guess the jug with the right pipe will turn 11, plus so a crank would be a good choice.

Was the exhaust port D shaped. Possible a after market 49cc jug. Nice score.

You should also grease the rear pulleys. While your there check your clutch springs and movement of the 3 pads (arms) lightly sand the pads and bell.

The needle jet maybe different than your stock carb. And or set at a different height. Reset your a/f also.

Here the story, I won a bid on eBay 72cc head. They also sent a few extra parts a sticker here the weird thing they sent A small bag of slivers of some kind of nuts with small minnows. Its just weird LOL

A 99 has a vertical motor. I would look for horizontal motor. Nothing wrong with a vert. Just a better selection of parts for a horizontal motor. The biggest thing on Zumas they are geared low.

I have one on a new taotao gt5 but it was shipped with a hole in the tank. Hasn't been started.I used the stock 49cc head with 2 base gaskets 195psi.

Is the diaphragm in good shape? That would be my guess. Or make sure the cable is adjusted right throttle is opening properly
