So dom' wants to know who has the most. That's cool to see high numbers.
Me, I'm nowhere close to a high number. So I want to know, who has the least mileage on a scoot--or any commuter vehicle--that isn't that new? I'll start.
My Taurus is a 1992 and has roughly 186,500 miles. That averages to 8880/year--not too bad for a daily-commute car!
But Peej is a 2005 and has about 2220 miles on him. That's 227.5 miles a year average. So he beats out my wagon, rather handily.
Can anyone do lower? And I'd say barn-finds don't count, since you can't know if those miles are actual or turned over.
>'Kat, waiting to see how low you can go

Bought it from a guy that only put 550 miles on it and put it in his shed. It sat for 5 years. He had another one same year, make and miles but I sold it after I got it running. Got both for $400 and he tossed in a Honda Spree for free.

egads, 'nix. You drive more one-way than I drive all week to work! That's a WHOLE lotta' miles!! puttin', that's more impressive than my wagon. That's 5958 miles a year. My goodness she must work next door or something. I've a feeling PCB's gonna' win this one. That's scary-low. Except sounds like you had to work on it to get it running again. Mine, I unplugged the battery tender, sputtered first time, started right up second time. And with 1 1/2-year-old gas we still putt-putted around fine. So dunno how that affects the comparison here. dom', yes. See the Happy Piggy after this. larr', if by pro-bono you mean my disqualifying barn finds, it's because as stated you can't know for sure those miles are actual. I mean, according to my wagon's odo he has 86.500 miles. I can stash him for a few years and then die and let someone find him and they'd be able to say "Hey, this car only has 86,500 actual miles on the odo." Never mind that's he's rolled over once. Then again, if we want to get really technical about things, the Taurus only has 46,500 miles on his engine. Now how's that monkey wrench goobering up things? >'Kat

2001 Honda S2000 car with 37,000 miles but I am cheating. It has been a garage queen just pressed into daily service. Not many miles to put on it in Minnesota winters.
