I like that idea Carasdad.
I'll probably never see a scooter rental service where I live, but I'm curious, for the places out there that do rent scooters--- how much does it cost (approx.) for a day/week?

Right out near the back entrance, on the cement, out of the way. Work is cool with it, and has been for the last 4 years--- if they wanted me to park in the parking lot, I'd happily do so.

I've got 2 big jugs (no pun intended) from Wallyworld that need GONE from my garage, thanks for the reminder.

I ran into his videos awhile back, after coming across Diospeedemon's channel where he helped serpentza fix his broken kickstarter.

Of course they said that HD was "better", they work at the dealership! I'm sure the Yamaha/Honda scooter dealers would say the same thing, and so does the guy selling Chinese scoots down the road--- for the money and if you work on them, that is.

Cool man, sounds like you're really liking the bike. Good! I haven't rode since around October. Got to either rebuild or buy a new engine.

Scrappy-- glad you guys finally stock the 22-toothed 139qmb crankshaft, and labeled it properly, too. I noticed a typo though--- you have listed an 18t (18-toothed crank) when it should be 16t. I'll happily take one for free, the 22t, for pointing that out (joking)

I get all of JR's and Doug's (the admins) very few mass emails, but I can't say I get anything else. I haven't posted much lately, so maybe things are different.
On a side note, I still get messages from scootdawg proboards, lol.

Not quite vintage... YET, but I picked up a Playstation 2 over a month ago---my old one got ripped off about 9 years ago after leaving it at a friends house over a weeked. It came with about 25 games(some pretty good ones), a controller, a decent memory card for only $30. Killer deal. What a great system with a huge library!

I don't blame you at all, Prodigit. No shame there. I've got about one more rebuild in me (super expensive crankshaft) and if that doesn't work out, then I may consider other options. I'm pretty frustrated right now, and I'm lacking any motivation to take out every last screw on this thing again to do another complete rebuild anytime soon---partially because it's cold out, even though there is a space heater in my garage. My scoot is apart in my garage--- with the head and cylinder off. It's been that way for about a month now.
Anyway, good luck and keep us posted!

I have an ashtray that I want to put on the front porch. It's about 3 feet tall. The problem is, it's pretty light and on the cheaper side. I need to add extra weight at the bottom or else it's going to get knocked over. I'll try and look for my camera and post a pic. Until then, the bottom is basically hollow on the inside--- it's like an upside down average sized funnel at the bottom(the whole ashtray is shaped like an hourglass). I need to figure out an easy way to add weight there. Any ideas guys/gals? Oh, the bottom is open-ended and not capped off.

The reason I'm pointing to a tight throttle cable is he is saying that the idle speed screw isn't lowering the idle. what i meant was i can lower the idle until the engine dies and the tire will still rotate very slowly. it wasn't like that on my old clutch. Was it always like that with this newer clutch(spinning tire at any idle)? If not, it could be a broken clutch pad hitting the bell--- and that is what is touching the bell, causing your rear tire to spin no mater what the idle is set to.
