Have you checked for a plugged exhaust or muffler.

When I dropped my scooter I was turning and braking hard at the same time. As I understand that is a big no. It sounds like you were braking hard but were you turning also?

No offence but seems like a woman thing, I do have a few names for it when things don't go right.

And people still owning 1 brake motorcycles, usually are seasoned riders, that know how to ride carefully
To each his own, I think its suicidal.

I say pay your fine and lump it. When the cop put on that uniform they are god and can just about do anything they want and far as any road rules go and you can't do a thing about it. The court is going to side with the police unless you invest big money in a lawyer. It s just cheaper and less stress to pay the fine, forget about it.

The last thing I think about is saving money scooter or motorcycle. It would be cheaper for me to not to own them and just run my car. I have both scooter and motorcycle along with off road bikes. I own and run them purely for pleasure, nothing else. I sure can't compare which one I like the best because they each have there own place. Scooter around the neighbor hood and town, motorcycle the open roads and expressways, and off road is just that mud and rocks. The only problim I have anymore is my age is starting to work agance me. Its to get old but I hope to keep my bikes a few more years.

I am not saying you didn't get junk parts. By any chance they weren't getting proper oil to them?

I guess I have been very lucky because the only time I have ever been stoped on my scooter or motorcycle was in a road block and the were stoping everybody.

Bought a new battery from E-Bay for my Honda Spree. Priced real cheap, bid for 9. and shipping 18. , new battery for less then 20 dollars. It came as a sealed battery and fit in the bike all charged. Bike started right up. My question is has anybody ever bought one of these cheap Chinese batteries and just what kind of service can I expect from a battery made in China?

This sure looks like a nice place, Not knowing Alaska real estate I don't know prices. I own and have bought land in the NY state Adirondacks. I payed 10,000 for a 1 acre bare lot and another place I bought was 32 acres with a cabin on it for 13,500, I have always made money buying and selling real estate. Location, location, location so be careful and do your homework.

I would like to introduce myself. I am a retired mechanic and now have a small repair shop at my home. If it has a engine and I can drive it that is my hobby. I have three Honda sprees, two riders and one parts bike. I ride the scooters around neighbor hood rides. When I want to get out on the open road I have a HD sportster. I also like doing some off roding so I also have two ATVs. Then just for fun I like driveing my 1935 Ford pickup to town. Then sometimes I like the water so I have a 16.5 aluminum boat with a 70HP engine. Now we have snow I just bought a older Arctic Cat snowmobile that I am restoring. So I agree, It is the Ride.
