Yeah like one year you ride one style then next year you change it up a little or completely make something new . Found all the panels I would need on here even the forks to completely switch it over but sure would like other experience/advice on it .

Hey everyone . I found this great site from the Netherlands that sells all kinds of replacement part for scooters and was looking at all the body panels on my scoot and wondering if the Chinese scoots are all the same ...well like interchangeable realy....are the frames the same too ...like say I wanted a different style ....and could find all the panels .....would the frames be the same .....like could I take all the plastics off and put maybe the plastics for the "vespa" style on it ? Just a thought but realy have thought about it. www.scootparts.nl/This is the site.

[replyingto=sylvrekat]SylvreKat[/replyingto]He said he bought them ( he had two of the same ) last year . One for him and one for his wife . Then they had a baby and never rode them again . The one I got was the wife's . Here we have like 6 months of winter , snow cover from December to may . So even though he could have gotten snow treads on it he just stored them in the bike shed for 6/7 or more months . Lol.

My 2012 AGM retro that I bought recently used , the guy had it for a year and like never drove it .....had .....ready....24 kilometers on the odometer .......that's two kilometers a month......of course in the month I have had it ...it now reads just over a thousand kilometers . But still a year and a half old scoot with only a thousand ain't bad .

I don't think he would risk them just by heating the bolt. The cylinder itself will disparate the heat from the bolt realy well like its designed to do . The bolt is the target . Now I can see if he doesn't watch we're the heat from the torch is going he could hit the chain guid with some unwanted exposer and warp it or worst but crank seals and stuff should be fin . You not actually wanting the bolt glowing red hot but close to it . I once had this awesome pair of bolt extractors would take head bolts out of anything ....also pay out the for them too ...were like $170-190 for a set of 10. Had a Honda urban express 50 once that snapped the head bolt on just like that , used plenty of heat and came out no problem.

Lol I did that with my 50 last week on Thursday . Didn't have anything to do so rode to Helsinki and back in a huge country road trip . About 250-270 Klm the whole day . I did stop once for a coffee but was a great trip . Wot most of the way , scoot loved it . Got it up to 45/46 mph on the hills downside lol . As long as you stay away from the redline you scoot will be fine , especially if its not moded with a bbk or something . All I have done to mine was added a unrestricted Cdi to it and gave the f/a mix a quarter turn to rich. No other restricters were on it . Have almost 1000 Klm on it now and it has fully broken in . Rides like a dream .

You have to heat the bolt almost to red hot ,15-20 won't cut it . And you need to heat the whole bolt not just one spot , well maybe not the whole entire bolt but in a general all around area not in one spot . The bolt will come out but has to be realy realy hot . 30 years as a auto/truck/motorcycle mechanic I've worked on everything from chain saw motors to tractor trailer rigs lol ....heat and lots of it will get the bolt out .

Thanks a bunch for the input . I can feel it get its peak around 36/38 mph (60 Klmh ) and will go past that on the straights but feels like I'm a pushing past any usable power so I keep it just under or about 60 Klmh which is great for now . It's stock accept for the new Cdi unit I put on it . Next is muffler and maybe Kevlar belt .

Hey everyone . I have a question . I have an AGM Reto with a gy6 50cc motor. I just installed a no rev limit racking Cdi unit and it really helped out . Can get her up to 45 no problem but then she won't go any faster ....well didnt try realy cause it felt as it was at its top. My question is without out a tach I have no idea what rpm it is turning and although on a Honda gy6 they are known to get 9000-1200 rpms befor redline I would like to know about we're I am at . I don't want to blow it and although the Cdi is a no rev limit is there a redline limiter in it by default so I don't through a rod or something ? Have big plans for her including a bbk , exaust , and carb later this summer .

Thanks for the info guys , Hank those are some awesome mods you've done . I think I will go a little milder and get a 72cc bbk, bigger jet on the carb , better exaust , an tunable Cdi unit , and maybe coil . If I can squeeze 60kmh out I would be happy 80 Klmh would be awesome.

[replyingto=lykos23]lykos23[/replyingto]Yes it is bone stock with the Cdi limiter I know of and probably the sleeve in the variater . 50 Klmh is about 33 mph . I want to do some of the mods on it like unlimited Cdi , larger jet for the carb , bbk like 80cc or so , but really want to here some honest answers about top speed averages with those befor I go from stock . 50kmh here is fine since most roadways are only 50-60kmh , major roads are 80kmh but have cycle lanes to travel on so like you don't have to have something that can do 80-100+ Klmh .

2012 AGM Reto , bought it for 950€ only had 24 Kim on it 2 weeks ago now has 350 Klmh . Ride it everywhere , cruise on it on some awesome country roads around the local lakes here in Finland .Only does 50 Klmh but most roads are 40-50-60klmh anyway. Main roads are 80 but they have cycle paths you can ride on. I've had and worked on bike since 1985 , restoring , fixing, selling ......and this I have had just as much fun on if not more ...it gets the looks and many compliments . I love the little thing lol. Hi everyone . I just joined here and have a nagging question that I can't really find an accurate answer for . I bought an AGM Retro scooter last week with only 24klm on it . Guy had it for a year an never rode it . Anyway , it is the 50cc version an I'm looking into some mods to do to it like rollers, unlimited Cdi unit , 80cc bbk with head, exhaust and carb upgrade later . But I really want to know is what kind of speed is realistic with these upgrades . I have read everywhere different top speeds with the same upgrades an therefor can't really tell if they are BSing or what . If its like only 5mph I might keep it stock and just ride the crap out of it . Here in Finland there are cycle paths next to roadways connecting many cities and if not a path a cycle lane on the roadways , make for a great scooter cruising country. Also last question , what difference would it make to go WOT as no matter what speed you are going the rpms on the motor are the same on a cvt transmission ?
