I just blew my 183cc engine on the way to work this morning... The crank broke. Not so happy about that since it was a stroker crank.  Quite some damage to the engine block.  It also broke the starter, cylinder, piston  Quite some damage to the engine block. Was not many parts I could save from that engine... I mounted a nother engine, a 150cc which isn't that much tuned.  |

Maybe a bad battery... have you tried to kick start it?
Smoke might be a result of a leaking head valves. Piston rings not sealing properly

Nice project, I will definitely be interested in buying an engine if the price is right...
Wouldn't it have been easier to mount the rubber bearings for the engine mount before the assembly of the engine or do you have a smart tool for that?
Did you plug the SLS connection on the head?

That engine case looks like it's for a drum brakes.
Will you have any engine cases for disc brakes, so it fits a 150 cc scooter with disc brakes ?

It is etched. This model can also be ordered with either a 50 or 150 But that would be two different engine mounts. I meant stickers on the body... |

A 150cc engine doesn't have the same mounts as a 50cc.
They must've put on the wrong stickers on it!
Could also be that the company only payed for a 50cc and never checked it before shipping it to you...

I think it's the right cap.
You wouldn't have the arrow on the plastic cover if it wasn't for aligning the cap.
Even if it pops up a little it should leak...
