I got my oil changed on my 125cc daelim besbi 2 (2300km) last week and noticed right when i took it up to speed that it didn't feel right. The top speed didn't feel like it usually does, and acceleration felt very weak.
I have to say "feels like" because at that same day my speedometer broke. It was already acting up before the oil change though. It wouldnt go below 20kph, and now doesn't go to top speed or show anything near the correct speed.
I do have a GPS navigation ap on my phone, and it doesn't show me breaking 90kph. this is far below the 110+kph that it used to show when the speedometer was still working.
What could have suddenly stolen 20kph (13mph) from a simple oil change? This time i chose to go with high grade synthetic oil because of heavy usage, and the repair guy did it for me.

I talked to my dad, and he thinks it is the fuel filter.
My engine isn't sputtering, but I think it has been using fuel a lot faster than before. Could it be something like the fuel filter or V-matic transmission that would cause the power loss?

Did the GPS also show 110+kph before or was it only the speedo showing that? Most of the speedos show to much...

i never really paid attention to the gps speed before because its hard to see in the sunlight. The scooter definitely feels slower though. I noticed a speed change before I ever checked the actual speed with the gps.
It feels sluggish getting up to 80 and takes a lot longer than it used to.
