Is not likely to stand up in court anymore! I'm fed up with people pulling out on me, so I followed some else's lead on here and got myself some reflective tape. TRON LIGHT BIKE FTW!! Lol Ian

Some people can not see my wife, in bright New Beetle with daylight headlights. On my way to work someone ran a red light and the other trusted the green, on Sept.22,'03 and again on Sept.22,'04. If you think others will see you you will expect them to not hit you and you will be not watching -- and that is when you will be hit. I do not need flashing lights or colors. I do not need others to see me. I will see them and I will avoid them.

I t-boned a car on my GS500 due to the driver pulling out in front of me. Had no time to do anything but brace myself and break. Walked away with a broken wrist but could've been a lot worse. Sometimes you can't do anything! Just try to drive as cautious as possible.

I do not need flashing lights or colors. I do not need others to see me. I will see them and I will avoid them. Making myself visible does not mean I'm going to start riding like a cager. It's a well known, and established fact that most motorcycle deaths are caused by cagers pulling out of side roads without seeing (not necessarily without looking) bikers. Like some one else has said. BS. If you think you've seen everyone on the road you're kidding yourself. If you think they've seen you, your just as stupid. The only way to survive is to ride as if every car driver is a drugged up, illegal immigrant, with no idea of road laws, trying to escape the police. Anything else is your . Ian

If a distracted driver can miss seeing me driving a 40 foot bus almost t-boning it then you need all the help you can get on a scooter. There are also reflective paints and flouroluminescent paints that work very well too.
