howdy, i appreciate someone that thinks enough to put reflective tape on their scoot cause they probably also think about lane position, speed, blind spots etc. and that makes all of us safer.
lotsa miles and smiles to ya and thanks for the reflective tape ken

yesterday a family of 4 was killed here on in south fl by a driver going the wrong way down the highway..that being said drugged up illegals trying to escape police will kill you..no but on a more serious note being more visible has never hurt any sober US citizens...

A machine gun would probably get their attention.

I'm actually surprised at how much of a difference it's made. On tight and twisty town roads, where cars always seemed to push their luck and try and squeeze me off the road, or force me between parked cars.......they seem to hesitate now, and give me space. They don't just seem to come barreling along the wrong side of the road at me, and actually let me through.
Maybe they're not completely blind. Even though I've always worn a full sleeve hi-viz over my safety gear......

Awesome . Great way to personalize your scoot, to boot! I'll have to add reflective tape to my scooter budget. ... Now I've got this morbid curiosity about what it would look like if the scoot was covered in reflective tape, completely.

I don't know if they make them for smaller scooters, but I have had Kisan Headlight modulators on my bikes for 10 years (including my wife's Helix, since we bought it in 2008). Saved our butts many times.

I try to slow down and react whenever I see a car waiting on the right side to come out. because so many cars don't see me coming. I get paranoid whenever I see a car waiting to come out.

I think it looks ok. What you need to do or add to your scoot to make you safer. I say do it. If it just makes you feel safer, do it. I personaly am going to be adding a head light mogilator & a brake blinker to my scoot, same as my last two bikes. and that's my 2 cent. Dave
