Will most likely be mixing them again when the 12's arrive to get 13g, think that's the best weight for my setup, at least then I'll have a spare set of 13, sorry bud.

I've recently had the same problem. I have 14g Dr Pulley sliders and wanted to drop a little weight so bought some 12g sliders by, I think, RPM (because they were cheaper). Mixed them together to get 13g and had the problem you mention. Thought maybe that sliders can not be mixed so I put all the 12g ones in and same problem. Maybe it's the material they are made from? Now back to the Dr Pulley sliders and no problems. Dr Pulley issued a statement a few years ago about copies of their sliders not being anywhere near the quality of their own, and that the copies are much harder and wear on the aluminum in the variator much quicker. Wish I'd found that before I bought the cheap ones! Now purchased some Dr Pulley sliders and will stick with them from now on.

Hi Leo, when you bleed the brakes and you're pumping the lever, the bleed valve must be closed. Then you maintain pressure on the lever and open the bleed valve, let the lever go say 3/4 way to the handle bar and close the bleed valve before letting the lever go. Repeat until you get a firm lever. Pumping the lever with the bleed valve open may have drawn air back through the valve. The way I flushed mine (because I'm cheap) was to have a small length of rubber tube (about 6" long) that fit tight to bleed valve and then over some small bore clear tube about 3 feet long and sucked on the tube 'til it was almost full. Closed the valve, emptied the tube (back through the rubber end, you don't want brake fluid in yer mouth!). Repeated a few times and then bled in the usual manner. All the best, Mike

Hey guys and gals, thanks for the nice comments 1st, London and the taxi driving. Boy, riding a scooter in a city setting is tough at the best of times, but add to that the fact you're trying to read a map at the same time and looking out for certain buildings and the fun factor (read that as brown trousers!) increases ten fold. But I love it. Often ride around all day, upwards of 70 miles, taking in some of the sights and whizzing past traffic queues straight to the front and tear off when the lights turn green....scooter takes it like a champ, great stuff. It does take a long time to learn it all, mainly through repetition, they say you can't fail, only give up! 2nd, reflective tape. Was someone extracting the urine with Tron comments? ;D Yeah it does have that look, I actually said so myself when I posted these pic's on the old place. But hey, what ever gets you seen right? The tape I used came as 2" wide. I cut it into 1/4" strips. It is black and reflects white. It is there on the first photo, you can just about make it out. At that width it was very easy to get it to conform to some quite tight curves. It came from Ebay, as scootnwin says, you should be able to get reflective tape from a lot of places. I've only seen colored tape that reflects white on ebay though, in all sorts of colors (though they all reflect white). I used regular red reflective tape on the rear, Thanks again folks, happy scooting, Mike

My Chinese "Peugeot", and her reflective tape, in case you're wondering, the 'board' thing between the mirrors is for clipping maps to, I use her for doing what is known here as the "knowledge of London". Basically learning to be a London black cab driver. You have to be able to take a customer from A to B without a map, satnav, or any directions in the quickest and most direct route possible and be able to circumnavigate any traffic problems. And you get comprehensively tested on your 'knowledge'. Mike ;D
