I miss riding. Lately it rains everytime I get ready to head in to work. The weather here sux! It rains at some point everyday! And with the rain comes the thunder and lightning! Uggg! I'm stuck driving my tahoe. Don't get me wrong, I love my tahoe but it's a gas guzzler. I MISS MY MAJESTY!

Been about the same here however I dumped my gas guzzling van for a little Diesel Fiat 124 Spider which gets about the same to better fuel economy as the Majesty and I was able to pay cash for it with the money from selling the van with money left over to put new tires on it. Still have managed to ride with the top down a few times a week despite all the rain. I just finished the top case repair (plastic welding made it like new) and buffed the scratches out of the windshield from when I dropped the bike a little over a month ago so its just about ready to ride for daily commuting again.
The Spider at 50 mpg with an 11 gallon tank I can squeeze over 500 miles from a tank of diesel and its also a fun ride so its not that bad of an option either.
Weather radar shows a local lightening storm brewing up right now so I better rush and get ready for work before the sky starts to light up.

I feel for you, groovy.
Seems like the KC weather is conspiring to keep me off the scoot. The days I have nothing right after work are all rainy or high wind gusts. The beautiful sunny calmer weather comes on the days I do have to race from work to activity after.
Sigh. Bad weather. Bad dog.

I'm finally able to ride more than one day at a time out here in STL. I swear, sometimes i think the weather ponies have mistaken STL as the code for Seattle.

Careful what you wish for! Haha here in California we've had sunshine for more than a year! Good for riding, bad for crops and business

Its almost dark as night with the tropical downpour we are getting at the moment. Not a good time to be on the road regardless of what you are driving.

Most roads leading to the office were underwater yesterday during the Morning Monsoons. Tropical Rains coming in off the Gulf of Mexico have made for a Month of interesting weather for sure.

Here in South Carolina, much the same as L.A. I suppose. (Lower Alabama). I work ourdoors, so good raingear as well as cold weather gear is packed according to season. I ride daily, regardless of the weather and consider it something of a personal challenge. David
