Welcome to the forum from me as well. Looks like an interesting bit of work you have ahead. Just keep it away from Uncle Rob. David

My commuter scooter. Muffs should be coming off soon. Still a bit chilly some mornings.

Well, considering you have 24 hours to go 1000 miles, fuel and rest inclusive, Pyder was the tool of choice that time. The first Ironbutt was Sandi's victory lap after completing radiation for breast cancer and getting a clean bill. The Bunburner (2000 miles) was just for the of it. David

Well there we were, on a leisurely ride to a bbq joint we had long intended to visit in order to overeat somewhere new. So we did just that, and when we came out;an outbreak of Kawasakis was observed. Rats! Forgot the food porn, but it's not like we won't be back. David

Well you know, I have Shinkos on the Morphous. I'm going to take a real close look right now because I thought it was my imagination that lately Morph has been a little squirrely in the turns. Seems to be exacerbated in the rain. Hmmmm. I'll get back to you all. David

Well, out of the blue I was contacted by a fellow on another board and he is going to buy said leaky machine soon. So thanks for the thought but it will soon be gone. David

Pic of the Fleet, the other Yamaha is resting due to a massive coolant leak. (sigh) Another broken machine.

Pyder

With the traction control and the Y chassis geometry, Pyder has never offered to hydroplane. Of course it is prudent to slow down in downpours, but it has always felt planted.I do have to wonder about those around me though. With respect to the scooter I tried radials thinking about a better response in the rain. WRONG! The bias ply tires that were the original equipment were sooo much better. Just have to adjust for conditions, like any other motorized conveyance. David
