Are Bintellis made by Adly these days? Thanks for the question. Our Bintelli branded scooters are made by the ZNEN factory in China. Adly scooters are made in Taiwan. We have been named the official USA distributor of Adly scooters, and our first shipments are only a few weeks away. We're starting with two models - the GTA and Bullseye and will be adding 3 more models by next Spring. The GTA has never been released in the USA and we made 19 improvements on the Bullseye for its relaunch. Both are 49cc, 2 stroke, and come with a 2 year unlimited mile warranty with two years of roadside assistance. You can see some details on the first two models we are releasing by going to adlyscooters.com/ and clicking "Models" at the top.

Getting knocked over could have something to do with it... Oil could've leaked into your CVT, but not likely...If it bogs down and the back tire is not turning, it could be your belt or something else in your CVT is bound... It's very hard to diagnose with such little info. Pop off your CVT cover and take a look at the belt and the rest of your cvt components. Yeah, i know. Still, better than the last time, it was at night and i didn't realize anything more than it was dying at quarter throttle, so at least we have a direction to look in. The shop's going to do that soon as they can get to it. Prolly have them check to see if its restricted, and maybe change the weights while their at it too. Hmmm, wonder if that'll kill the warranty. I don't know for sure, but I think modifying the engine in any way will VOID the warranty. I suggest if you're unsure, Contact Justin or Jason.

If the bike has been knocked over I would recommend having your dealer take a look at it just to make sure everything's OK. Sometimes things get knocked loose or crack that may not be noticeable at first glance. It also sounds like your carburetor may need a slight adjustment and there may be something quirky going on in your CVT. The rear tire not turning is the giveaway.Don't worry, your dealer can diagnose exactly what you need to get you back up and running in no time!

Oh definitely, but in this case we're talking two minor trans tweaks. Lighten the rollers for better hill performance, and if on the odd chance it has a restriction in the transmission, get rid of that. Outside of that, i'll prolly never modify it mechanically, i prefer to keep it simple and reliable, if i need faster, i'll get bigger. Yeah, i know. The only parking option here is to chain it to the patio fence, with the center stand on a board so it won't sink. Had one of those storms that take down trees here, so it wound up on its side in the grass, so aside from an out of place mirror, bike looked fine, fired right up, and rode fine. Biggest problem for solving this is that it has the bad habit of working perfectly fine when the dealer gets it, and reproducing the problem may be all but impossible. After i got it back the last time, i racked up prolly around 125 miles before it struck again. Gotta love those intermittent problems that can take years to find.

Hmmm, anyone know what connectors are used for the lighting, and where to get parts (connectors, pins, crimping tool)? I mean where it plugs into the main harness? I'm thinking of adding some extra lighting and would like to add it to the light circuit without hacking up the harness. I'm thinking get the parts to build my own short harness to add in that gives me leads to connect to rather than modifying the existing wiring.

I've had to run red lights on many occasion , they just don't seem to pick the scoot up. They're pretty good around here or most of the ones i deal with are timed. I only have two problem ones, one i use a parallel street one block south which is stop sign controlled. For the other one, i exit the freeway on the bike ramp, and use the bike trail to cross over to a side street.

Hey Javarod, You can get all the terminals, pins, plugs and the crimper from cycleterminal.com. I've placed a few orders with this company and it's a good company. As far as what plugs you have, I can't say for sure because mine is a 150cc not the 50cc. Just pull the plastic off and have a look. The front faring comes off really easy. What kind of additional lighting are you planning on running?

What kind of additional lighting are you planning on running? I would expect the Havoc to have the same connector regardless of motor size, since what i'm interested in is where the light socket plugs into the main harness. Even if the main harness changes between engine sizes, i'd expect that the light socket doesn't, therefore the plug would remain the same. A pair of small red LED bolts on the back (they were marketed as license plate bolts but are too wide) and a pair of small amber strips on the front. Basically just side marker lights right now, since they're all stuff i have kicking around. ••EDIT Just noticed i use two instead of too. Funny i should do that as i do story editing as a hobby••

Hey Javarod, I just wanted to check in and see how things were going with your scoot....did the dealer get your problem fixed?
By the way, I get a kick out of the nickname "The Scooter Of War" LOL! What made you decide to name it that?

What made you decide to name it that? Unfortunately nothing found, though they did clean and inspect the tranny. The name is a bad joke, check my sig for the whole thing (and stuff in there is clickable, in fact I just tweaked the Bintelli banner). ••Finally got to looking at this on my computer, dunno why my reply was jammed into the quote. Fixed now albeit with some difficulty. ••

Nice bike, bintelli seems like a pretty legit dealer. I was on a bit more of a budget so I got an ssr x6 150 zuma clone. Pretty much the exact same as the havoc, built by znen I think, except it has 10" wheels with 130 10 front and 120 10 rear. Still has the long case. Anyways I rly like mine it looks almost exactly the same as the havoc but its only like 1250 so its a tiny bit cheaper. I think theyre both nice looking bikes, and I have nothing to complain about pertaining to the build quality, no leaks or loose parts and it runs well. Just another option I wanted to mention if youre into zuma clones.

I think Bintelli ( Bintelli - Justin Bintelli - Jason ) is fairly new, the brand at least, but i get the impression that its run by a bunch of experienced people who decided to do more than just sell scooters. Znen has been around a while, back when i was on ScootDawg and last had a scooter, around 08, they were one of the top brands, Zongshen being another (now if only i could get someone to import Zongshen wave clones (see my thread on that)...), problem was finding them. Better = more expensive, and most China scooter sellers were drop shippers looking for the cheapest product, and often changing makers often. Bintelli is using only Znen, so you know what you're getting, and it gives a reliable source for the product. With the savings being only $150, i think i'd pay the difference for the bigger wheels, and knowing its back by a solid importer that'll be around should i need help.

Hey Javarod, Did you ever figure out what your intermittent issue was?

Hey Javarod, Did you ever figure out what your intermittent issue was? Unfortunately, nope. I need to carry a wrench to pull the trans cover next time it happens since by the time it gets to the shop it works fine.
