Yea i would like to know the cause of it being kinda melted/sticky. It did sit for about 6 months Maybe that's the cause??? Also this is the stock cheap carburetor.

I've had to replace a couple but none that.looked that bad. Sometimes that's the last part you think about when trying to figure out the problem.

Ok i had a different carburetor in the garage. I cleaned it and got it on the scooter and i am back to 50mph. Thanks for all your help...

Fantastic!! Easy fix, if the motor was backfiring back out through the carb that would heat it up good. But sitting for months would not cause that if it is sticky that is from heat. Alleyoop
