You will notice when you put the case back together if it's enough. Grab the crank and spin it around several turns with your hand and you'll hear and feel if its enough...

I would also recomend an oil cooler. Larger cylinder and more stroke = more compression which creates more heat...

I'll be at 177cc I have been looking at oil coolers and the 62mm water cooled kit from taida looks awesome but costly.

Our Taida 232cc Engine we dont run a oil cooler and the engine runs amazing. We ran it hard around almost half the island for about 4 hours hours only stopping for gas and it ran like a champ. It was around degrees that day.

Only adding 7cc with the stroker I ran for hours no issue when it was 170cc. I'll do the ncy oil cooler if I run into issues.

i put the spacer and two thin gaskets on each side of the spacer used and old head i already had since mine is off to be ported by buford, the chain is super tight had to make it seat by tightening the bolts on the rocker arms. I'm thinking by the time my head gets back the chain will have stretched and all will be ok, if not ill have to tear it all part or break the chain and get a master link and use the 92 link chain.

Update took off both gaskets covered the spacer in rtv high temp gasket sealer sprayed it with the copper spray will work perfectly. Good clearance the chain isn't overly tight all is a go.

If the piston does not reach all the way up in the cylinder when it is at TDC you could try and remove the spacer and re-check piston position. If it's OK without spacer the chain will not be so tense either. Also check the valve clearance Here's an image of my piston at TDC without the spacer.

be careful with the rtv sealant it can block the oil passage

Its very near the top with the spacer maybe .4 I'm good with the clearance and the chain goes on the cam, can push the rocker assembly flush by hand. With any gasket even the .2mm gasket had to force it down with the rocker nuts.

I scraped all the rtv out of the passage with a small screw driver

The spacer was supposed to be 1.60mm but its 1.65 I measured there's .3mm from the top of the jug with the spacer no gaskets. Will give me a comfortable clearance and chain isn't too tight. I've ran the rtv without gaskets before and no leaks so I'm confident it will be alright. Mbe motorsports sells a 1.57mm spacer I believe would be perfect with no gasket and a cam without high lift. I'm going to run a high lift cam so the .3mm is fine for me.
