What can I say but the head had a lot of slag in it from the factory in this particular head it had a lot.well my camera is not good im not big on pics so may be mill can take some when he gets it probably on Monday but a long story short it will flow the air big time now. Now its a performance head got to mention a company that got me started in these heads. Scrappydogsooters.com I do his heads as you all know. Just to let everyone know I normally dont do used heads regularly. I may do a few if im not busy. I just owed mill a favor.so with that being said the big valve heads that I do go to scrappy. They are the best I guarantee it.big thanks be safe.buford.

The head I sent was labeled as a big port tawain racing head, there's is no comparison to a professional hand porting over a machine made product. Best to get the head ported by a professional, getting out a dremel and making the hole bigger won't cut it. You can get a professional ported head from scrappys that Buford ports.

Got it all back together, not starting at this time it won't turn over more than half a turn with the added compression. I'll have to redo all the starter wires with heavier gauge wire maybe upgrade to a taida starter motor already have the taida starter clutch. probably doesn't help that its 3 degrees outside i'll get all the pics up and a video after i get it started.

will it turn over by hand with the plug out if not you have problems with piston /valves hitting that need to be fix first

Turns over freely by hand with plug out and when I push the button with plug out. It struggled some before the stroker the starter wires get hot should of rewired it long ago.

If your leaving the start button pushed then you can burn your wires They will get extremely hot. You never are suppose to leave it pushed for more than 3 seconds. best thing is to give it 3 seconds and let go and another 3 seconds and so on until your start it. Most use a stronger battery 12amps or more alongside with a high torque starter.

I have a 230cca battery taida starter clutch and a knock off high torque starter motor. I'm using the stock wires off the starter motor since the plug was different. I'm going to rewire the starter wires if that don't work I'll get the taida starter motor. My kick start was broke from the factory so that's not an option at this time either.

the compression will be very high at first as you already know......when im done with the head it will not leak a bit..you can bet your last dollar on that. its done right the first time...i will take a gamble and say with that set up that you have it will be over 240psi.....watcha all think? cant wait to see your wheelie.......lol.....buford........
