Covered Plates = Means doing something they should not be doing. The bikers tried to dominate the the road and that's again not legal. One of them got hit because of it. Seldom do I find myself on a cagers side.. But this case screams premeditated by the bikers.

On the contrary! It's a good thing he survived, and has to live out the rest of his life in a wheelchair. He has time to think about how he wasted his mobility and good health on a stupid stupid stunt designed only to glorify himself and his abilities. Good! THAT'S JUSTICE. death would've been too easy on him.

Thats true, but I think most bikers are as disgusted as we are with it. Hopefully their actions won't reflect on bikers as a whole. These guys are not bikers in my book, Just a bunch of misguided lowlifes who happen to own bikes.

Sorry I guess I am from another time or something , been in too many wrecks and seen to many wrecks from careless cagers that don't care. Lost fellow riders from cagers . What they did on the video does not show the whole story , some of your sane comments I've heard before but with cruser riders instead of rice rocket riders taking the blame . The media and police will show that its those mad max bikers terrorizing and out for blood crap only to put another bad light on us all . Believe what you want , we have that right . The taking care of business I do stand beside , when was the last time you were out for a ride with your buddy and a cager runs him down without even looking were they were going or even care , or your wife ran off the rode and the cager took off ? Am I biased to the bikers , yes possibly but then I've been there and how would you react ? Should the bikers had bashed the dudes head in , no blocking him in and waiting for police to settle it yes ...oh but wait when they tried that he ran them over even more so if he's out for my blood and doesn't care I'm just supposed to let it go? Sorry if a blind cager runs me over for no reason I hope my brothers will chase him down and stop him so the police can take his butt to jail. I think we can't generalize every traffic accident, because as a biker you get ran over by cars. I'm sure when the accident happened, what should have happened is that the bikers would stop and first provide first aid to the wounded biker. They should have treated the driver of the 4 wheels with respect, and call the police, to file a report. If they had handled it with cool heads, instead of hotheads, like the mentality of the writer I'm quoting here, everything would have gone fine with just a ticket, or insurance claim or whatever. However because a few bikers not doing things the right way, other bikers who have kept their heads cool ended up in the accident with him! Treating violence with violence will get you NOWHERE (but in jail, or an early retirement to the next world).

Why on earth do you people insist on calling this an accident?? THIS WAS NO ACCIDENT!! Clearly it was a stunt done on purpose gone wrong. These guys were out to terrorize innocent motorists. The authorities have charged some of the bikers involved, and are investigating the rest. No charges have been brought against the driver of the SUV!This is not an "ACCIDENT, it's an INCIDENT!

It's illegal, 2. it shows the groups true intent to do something they weren't suppose to be doing, 3. shows they were aware it was illegal and didn't want to be caught. 4. was premeditated..

Murder? For what? They didn't run him over. The guy in the SUV did. The SUV Driver is fine now...

The biker failed his license test in 1999 in Massachusetts and has a notice out on him by the State of Massachusetts in the National Drivers Registry preventing him from getting a license until at least 2017.
There are outstanding traffic warrants against him in multiple States also.
Seems like he has been riding unlawfully for 14 years now and is a known habitual offender.

I'm not sure if it's federal or state law, so this may not apply in all states, but if a death occurs during the commission of a crime, the offender can be charged with murder. Not sure if it's murder or homicide or some other legal term, I'm no lawyer, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn last nite!

Well the guy was the perpetrator you can't charge a dead guy with his own murder that's suicide. They would have to show the other guys told him to do it... Anyway this whole thing is a freaking mess I can't believe some of the guys charged in this pack were in their 40's. This whole thing now that all the story is actually out is obviously wrong in many ways. Poor SUV guy and his family. I could understand (not condone just understand) the whole "hey you hurt my buddy" thing but this is obviously not what happened here...

I never said what they did was right , and I was born and raised in the states ...only moved here about three years ago. But what the cager did was wrong as well but everyone seems to think he has the right to "shoot them all with a shot gun " mentality he is in the right? Who has the right to take any life ? And its not what I " HEARD" it what the papers in new York and new jersey reported befor the netorks picked it up ...if you want to do the quotes thing google it . Fatcs are facts what you SEE on the tape is not the whole story and never did I condone what they did by beating the guy . Should they have givin chase ...well yes why let that jerk get away with hit and run ....again read the newpapers....chase him down and beat the guy ...uhm I think I said NO. I'm not angry and nor do I have anger issues thank you but you people are acting like you have the right to blow them away .......im sure if you are on your scooter and get hit and run by a cage you would feel just a little bit different .....been rideing since 1977....if you count off road also lol ...if a group of cycleist can and threatened me out of the blue of course I would defend myself ...and if a cager can and threatened me I would also defend myself.

I saw this on my facebook yesterday and it makes me absolutely disgusted. im sorry but if they had done that to me they would of found half those bikes crushed on the highway. you threaten me and my family over a accident and i will react accordingly to defend myself with my truck or any weapons i have inside. i love to ride bikes and here in tampa cars and trucks seem to never see me when im riding but that animal pack mentality doesnt sit right with me.
