Hi Larry Me too,Shelly told me it would be tied up for about a week. THAT WAS LAST TUESDAY. I,m going to call them on tuesday, and if they give me another excuse, I,ll cancel the order as well as any future purchases. I liked the idea of "plug-and play" i guess im getting lazy. This is the email i sent scrappy this morning.. we'll see what he does.. Dear Scrappy I have asked for a date you would be shipping this engine, And you have not responded... First it was suppose to be delayed only one week, then you say two weeks... You are not answering my emails when I em asking for clarification as to definite date you will ship, and when I called during you during your business hours you did not even answer the phone.. So here's what we are going to do.. If you can not give me a definite date you will be shipping this engine to me, then by the end of your business day Tuesday May 28.. Consider this deal canceled, and return my money so I can go else where. When I bought this engine your website said 1 in stock, if I had known you didn't have any in stock I would not have bought this engine to begin with... I em not waiting any longer nor can I allow you to tie up my money... Either a definite shipment date or cancel the order, and return my money.... Thank you for your patients Sincerely Larry Sheetz |

Been so busy working I have not had time to update this, Scrappy got my engine and it's on it's way... A few little things to do when it arrives and Fawkes is running again,,,, Then Ill rebuild his original engine, and then Ill start the stroker.

I'm Really very very very upset now at Scrappydog.... They sent me a 150 cc engine not the GY6-100 I ordered... All this waiting and wasted time... ducking emails and phone calls... And for what this ?
Scrappy you can't put a 150 in a 139 frame with out lots of mods, This is not what I ordered.... What are you thinking ?

Now I think I've changed my mind, I'll just stick with AbsolutelyScooters - I can't handle waiting and if I was waiting in vain I'd be SO PO'd, even for a little part. I can't imagine your anger and frustration. So sorry to hear this. Will they give you a refund at least? Do you have to pay to ship it back?
On a side note... How come we can't say "h-e-l-l" but we can say "pissed"? Is it because the Englanders consider "pissed" to be "drunk" and not the American curse word? For that matter, all the curse words up to the S word should be allowed because that's what they allow on television. What's with this censorship on proboards?

I can't believe all the problems you've been having through the thread. Really sorry to read all this, are they at least working with you to get your 100 to you? This seems crazy!

According to Shelly, (Scrappy)
All the GY6 100's were mislabeled at the factory, and in reality contain 150's.... I was just the first person to get receive his engine and discover the problem. She left a message on my phone while i was working saying she had a couple alternatives for me.. Ive returned her phone call twice today, But Shelly was not in yet.. Told them I go to work at 1:00, so they are suppose to return my call and tell my what we can do to correct this....
Some how I'm thinking they are going to try to give me a standard 139 50 cc and the difference in money back or a full refund and i send the engine back... We will see... This is what happens when someone sells something they don't have in stock !!!
Moral of the story, Never accept backorders.. Either they have it or they don't..

That,s because i told her about you, and said "you better go and open them and check them out". All mismarked!!! What a fiasco this turned out to be. Never again!  |

I have helped build a few race car motors over the years has any ever used needle bearings in stead of roller bearings in a race scoot??

Hi guys,
Well here was the deal from scrappy, They decided to send me a new long case 139 engine with a 100 bbk (83cc actual). The 150cc engine they told me to keep.. Shelly was saying it would cost more to ship it back to them than it's worth, Needless to say I'm very surprised... So I guess I have a 150 engine... I Wish so badly i could fit it in Fawkes, but lots of mods on that and I don't have access to a welder to reposition the motor mounts..
So I'm not sure what to do with this 150, But I'm thinking about finding a 150 frame and putting it in that..

pick you a cheap non running scoot and try to fab that 150 in it, and put a bbk on it, would be awesome wish this happened to me  and my good friend is a welder may do a project 150 with bbk in a 50cc frame yet |
