I don't have the stock carb anymore. And the piston rings I set up the to two rings about degrees apart from each other on same side of piston so that each ring end gap was about 5 degrees away from the wrist pin holes, and on the opposite side of piston I did oil rings 15 degrees apart, I was told do them all 180 apart but I believe this is the proper setup. But even if the rings are wrong would 120psi cause it to not show ANY increase in power what so ever? And I'm positive timing is all correct, it starts up easy, runs and idles good, just not like you'd expect with the bbk, if you rode this thing you would never expect it had ANY mods done to it what so ever, let alone a bbk and larger carb! I don't understand

So I got my 50mm bbk installed, and I cannot tell the slightest difference in the power it had before the install and now after. I installed a 20mm carb with main jet with it, torque my head to 15ft lbs and it's getting about 120psi compression AFTER I squirted some oil in the top of the cylinder and did compression test...is that normal or what could be the problem that it's not performing like it should?? I was thinking it should have around 160psi but I'm not sure. I also ordered the a9 cam but don't think it's gonna help much, I pulled the plug and it was running lean so I richened the mixture a Lil. Please help me anyone, any tips and advise on anything to give this thing the power it needs would be helpful. Also it has sick exhaust and a free flow air filter if your wondering, I haven't had money for exhaust yet but I still think I should have a significant increase in torque the way it is.

I recently totaled my new Taotao Evo 150 but my engine is still good so I'd like to find another body for decent price so I can have my scooter back, and preferably a smaller type 150 frame would be nice so I can try to get away with acting like it's just a large 50cc like mine was before the wreck, please txt with any info to 765 499 7516 thanks

I ordered this brand new unopened set of ncy gears for my 150cc gy6, and sadly I totaled it before I got a chance to even open the box.I paid 50 bucks for them but I will sell them for 40 but I'd really like to trade for an after market exhaust for my 50cc Scoot. Txt if interested.. 765 499 7516

So I'm trying to finish up my bbk build, after further inspection of my cam assembly I noticed one of my cam bearings doesn't spin as freely as the other and feels like it may have some damage, so I ordered a new a9 cam, but my rocker assembly in the part that holds down my cam has a very small gouge in it but that's the part that holds the outside of the cam bearing which is supposed to be stationary so my question is, do I need to order a new rocker arm assembly also? I don't think so but figured I'd ask for advice just in case. I hope not, I attached a picture of the rocker with the small gouge.

I agree with you about the valves so yea I will probly wait, but I am an auto mechanic and have worked in cars for 10 years and ported alot of heads so I assume scooters wouldn't be much different, except alot easier lol
