I just ordered a 50mm bbk on ebay from 02starrider, should i also upgrade to a bigger cam and what kind of performance increase should i expect>? i also ordered a 20mm carb to install with it and just wanted to know what kind of adjustments/mods i should make with the new carb?....i was thinking main jet and free flow filter, anything else and should i adjust air/fuel mix?

hi i have a 2010 taotao 150 gy6 i recently was in a bad wreck and totalled, and i paid over a thousand dollars so i dont wanna just let the rest of it go to waste and id also like a toy to mess around with so id like to know if its possible to take the drivetrain from my 150 and put on the same year 50cc scooter i also own, so i need to know what i will need to do and what extra parts i might need if its possible, how hard it will be, and what problems i might have when doing so. anyones help would be greatly appreciated

im ordering a bbk for my 50cc scoot and i dont know if i should get the 64mm or 69mm valves, and if and how much they will help or will they just cause problemms?

hi im rebuilding an old gy6 scooter i have and will use for mostly short distances around town and i need some advise on whether i should get the 80cc kit or the 100cc kit.....i was looking at a 100cc kit on ebay and it gave me the option of 64 or 69mm valves also and i wasnt sure which to get or if id run into any problems if i upgraded to 69mm valves. please help if you can, thanks!

ok, i checked it and its full...so what now?? btw, thank you everyone for your help i really appreciate it...this site has been great and full of helpful people who actually know what theyre talking about! im more of a do-it-yourself guy or id just take it to the shop...im an a.s.e. certified mechanic but not familiar with working on chinese scooters so once again thank you very much everyone for all the help!

if it is empty what oil should i use? ...and it was making some pretty load noise if its too late what damage do you think is done to it and what will i need to replace?

i have a taotao 150 fairly new and it has started making alot of noise coming from the back tire area, sounds like bearing noise to me...squeaking and rattling, and its getting worse. i just started a job that requires about 50 miles per day driving and really cant afford to break down so someone please help me and tell me what the problem is, if its a bearing where can i get one and what is it called?..rear hub bearing? my scooter only has about 100 miles on it btw.

My mistake, the odometer IS working now that i fixed speedo...but still no tach, well it works just not right it stays high and bounces around i dont know where its grounded to frame at to check or what else it could be? its driving me crazy

I bought a new evo150 taotao, and i had a post on here earlier about a no start condition after i start it first thing in the morning and drive a block or so it bogs out and dies, well i change the cdi box and it always starts right back up and i cant figure out why it keeps doing this. i was told to adjust the valves and i did that to .004 on both and now it wont run at all, it tries but wont start up. after looking closer under the seat i noticed that the vacuum lines dont look even close to being hooked up right, so my question is why is it not starting now, and where can i get a diagram for the vacuum lines on my evo 150? i checked the manual and it doesnt show anything...please help!

and i also took front cover off and checked all the wires, everything seemed to be intact...?

fixed the speedo, there was a washer between the wheel and speedo gear that was flattened, but still dont know why the tach is acting weird like saying its 4000 rpm at idle when i kno the idle is low maybe 1800 at most....and odometer still not working..??
