Why the Ukrainian trident? My father's parents immigrated from the Ukraine to the U.S. after the Soviets took over. I have been told we were Zaporozhian Cossacks.

Lol definitely don't have that in my little town! What? You don't have Dancing Statue of Liberty pushing income tax? How about Gorillas that want to buy your gold? Maybe a Giant Subway Sandwich? God! What a messed-up ecosystem!

In California the DMV told me that if it did not go over 30 miles per hour it did not need registration.... Which is why you need to read the law, instead take the word of a mouth breather in the DMV. www.leginfo.ca.gov/cgi-bin/calawquery?codesection=veh407.5. (a) A "motorized scooter" -- stand on, such as a GoPed. 406. (a) A "motorized bicycle" or "moped" -- has pedals for human power, less than 2 bhp, cannot do over 30 mph. If it is electrical powered it does not need pedals, but if it does have pedals it may only do 20 mph. A Piaggio Ciao is a moped. Most of our "scooters" are legally "motorcycles." 405. A "motor-driven cycle" -- a motorcycle of less than 150 cc 400. (a) A "motorcycle" -- saddle, more than three wheels, not a moped, not a farm tractor. A Piaggio Fly150 displaces 149.6cc and is a Motor-Driven Cycle. A Motor-Driven Cycle is not legal on the Freeway. A Vespa LX150 displaves 150.5cc, is a Motorcycle, and is legal on the freeways. In California, our "scooters" are actually motorcycles, need a motorcycle registration and license plate, motorcycle insurance, and we need to wear a motorcycle helmet to ride on the streets. On a two wheel moped you need a Class M2 driver's license. On a two wheel motorcycle, even a 49cc, you need a Class M1 driver's license. A GoPed is legal on the streets. Orginally on Class-C only, corrected so you can ride on a Class-M license. In California, Trike or a motorcycle with a sidecar, requires a Class-C license, not a Class-M. In California we can have a Class-M motorcycle only license. If you have an only motorcycle license, you are not allowed to ride a trike or hack. Which matters only to lawyers and technicians who are picky. The DMV and the Cops don't care about the law. The lawyers have argued in court and the judges agreed that some of the laws may be ignored.

I was the SysOp of the SWAMPS BBS, early '82 thru '88ish. My telephone was used for the BBS. I told my boss that if they wanted to contact me they needed use a teleprinter, you can't call me by voice. June '86, The Atari Trick logged on my BBS. Sept '86, Married her. Got a voice line. Pacbell.com started in Feb. ' I was on the Internet circa ' , connecting on the greatesc.com, for newsgroups. On Jul 28, 1995, I set up our company computer, fixed IP 150.235.204.246 Pacbell.net april '96 started, I was one of the Beta Testers. (Wife's e-mail has been the same for almost 17 years.) Pacbell.net drops unlimited connection to 300 hours a month (10 hours per day) with 5 people in the house we were connected close to 15 hours a day. I get a second ISP. Got DSL December '99 (back to unlimited) Got my own Domain Feb '01 .... As for that South Park episode -- not allowed to happen. I can put an Internet Connection anywhere. Or could, I'm Retired.

How could I possibly improve on this greatness? Did you replace the horn yet? The first thing I put on my Vespa was a decent horn. Stock horn said "excuse me, but would you mind if you don't kill me?" and now says "Bugger Off!" My Savage had a pair of automobile highway horns that said "Cadillac Coming In!"

Try to get people to understand that riding a scooter is *easier* than walking. Your ride is so totally different than L.A.. I can see where a 50cc scooter would be usable, in LaLaLand the cagers would run me off the road. Like the black dog that paced you but stayed in his yard.

So, I've been toying with the idea of ... a motorcycle( cruiser) ... insurance. What are y'alls thoughts? My old bike: 1. Cruiser, the "rocking chair" position that you can ride for hundreds of miles. (The above picture was taken in L.A., two days later I was in Amarilo, 1070 miles.) 2. V-Twin cruisers are heavy. The Savage is a 652cc single, just 380 pounds wet. It is a "Thumper" (hence the decal on the tank), at 70 mph it runs 4500 rpm, a 38 Hz rumble, a vibration like a cheap motel massage bed (unlike the dentist drill of a sport bike.) Tops about mph stock, can do 100 mph without too much effort/money. 3. Cheap!!! The Savage had Progressive lists for least crashed and least stolen motorcycles -- meaning cheap insurance. Also cheap gasoline -- uses regular and gets about 50 mpg in the city and 60-65 mpg on the Interstate. 4. Support. Has been produced since 1986, still available for 2013. Good Forum on the Internet.

"Carolina Energy, a Westinghouse Electric Company" is a "tag how about the electric company."
I would love to tag the wooden bridge with graffitti, but 2 hour prior would be the winner, IMHO.

For over 7 years I was riding a 652cc Suzuki Savage, neglected oil, killed it, and I was stuck in one of the wife's cages. BLEAH! Options: ** A replacement Suzuki S40, the worlds best city bike and capable of Interstate touring. ** A Yamaha V-Star 650 Classic, not as good on the city, better on the Interstates. ... but Wendy wants to go with me, but in her cage. I need less to carry, want better mileage. ** A Suzuki TU250, a retro 250. Not available in California. But I could cheat, take the Savage to Arizona, destroy the Savage, buy the TU250 as a replacement, legal to register in California. ** A SYM Wolf 150, a lighter motorcycle, again a retro, a proper motorcycle. ... but I am starting to not throwing a leg over the saddle. Scooters sound interesting. ** A Maxi-Scooter, maybe a Burgman 650, possibly a 400. Heavy. Ugly (my opinion, which is the only one that counts.) ** A Big Vespa, a 300, but heavy ** A LX150, freeway legal, even if most people think I am crazy to ride doing 60-64 mph on the Interstate. ** A Stella, 150, a shifty scooter, carries a spare tire! Think think think.... I like the least weight -- , it is way I bought the 380 pound Savage instead of a bigger motorcycle. Decided I want the 150cc scooter, good for the city. Toss up -- the Vespa legal freeway, or the non-freeway Stella. Rented a Vespa, found that I wil accept the LX150 on the freeway, got it. I prefer the roads less taken, but if I am in a hurry the Vespa can run the Interstates, legally. If it wasn't for the legallity, I would probablly been riding a Stella. Your Mileage May Vary. Ride Your Own Ride.
