I'd go 7 or even 8 gram (on that BBK) if you don't see/hear any problems in the CVT.. might even pick up a few MPH. If your popping weelezzz.. your running high RPM at a low MPH.. Cool but not practical (not in FL that is) I'd like to see a video.. you can never be too cool tell you pop a v.i.d.e.o ^ Then when you fix it, you'll know just how Bad $ss you where .. you know back in the day..

OK guy's,gal's and others, As you might have read this thread. itistheride.boards.net/index.cgi?action=display&board=50ac&thread=3801&page=1#42736The answer is 'yes it will fit'. 17mm socket with the magnetic oil plug (Left side drain plug on a 50cc 139QMB) Installed after test drive, look's good and no leakage. Old drain plug and Dipstick shown above, at no cost to you. --------------------------------------------------------------------- I did however need to "work this drain plug into place a bit, but not so much as to "chase the threads". The Magnet is quite strong i picked up a 3 pound hammer with it just as a test. The link to the Ebay seller shipped in a timely fashion. I payed $18.99/free shipping, but i see the price went up a buck. humm.. www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-EARTH-MAGNETIC-OIL-DRAIN-PLUG-GY6-and-SYM-Scooter-/390647999423?vxp=mtr============================= Matt.. PFS.. you need to look into stocking this or one real close to it.

My ATM50 has an oil net (not filter but a metal net) at the drain plug. I could put a bigger magnet in the net, without fearing it would get into the engine somehow. The net is metal, presumably steel, so a magnet will magnetize it. Great idea to get some magnets in them! I only wonder if they can handle the heat (it's known that especially neodymium magnets lose magnetism when heated up; I just don't know how hot they have to become before losing most of their magnetic field) Prodigit, all GY6's come with the screen filter (unless something went south at the manufacturer or it got misplaced) ------------------------------------------------------------------------- www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-EARTH-MAGNETIC-OIL-DRAIN-PLUG-GY6-and-SYM-Scooter-/380684384029?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item58a28eb71d&vxp=mtrThanks Yelloscoot for the link. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- I thought about getting 2 of the Ni- magnets, using one on the inside of the plug and one on the outside holding the two together but even thou it would work, and they are strong enough to not be a problem i would need to buy them online (or go to watlow and see a friend for a few--NA not going to ask a friend to steal from the work place) So i went with the link above. I even thought of getting the magnetic one off PFS a while back but i like the way this one is made. ------------------------------------------------------- NOTE: THIS WORKS ON THE LEFT SIDE DRAIN PLUG-- 8/23/2013 You still need to clean your oil screen (right side drain plug) --------------------------------------------------------- I don't think heat is going to be a real big factor for this application. ========================================== NOTE to MATT at PFS:: I am not a fan of E-bay, Please look at the link and see what you can do to stock this idem.

Good link Yelloscoot. I just snagged one up off that link, if you want to give me a week or so i'll let you know if it is the right one and if it's worth the $18.99/Free shipping. It looks to be the one for the GY6. We shall see.

Dear god Spandi, you've blown the doors wide open for them. I'll bet they read this and start mass production of them ... Right-away. Might even have a meeting in regards to a new sister line called.. Shazzam- Lighting Bolt. or SLB for short.

I bought some small earth magnets for a dollar and super glued one to the bottom of the drain plug, works great And you might be able to get one for free. Got a Mr coffee that is going to go curb side? On some, there is a earth magnet inside the bottom of the heating plate of the coffee maker, right above the Watlow flat heater. (Orange flat heater) Rip it apart... It's in there. Put a few 10,000 of them in when i worked at Watlow Columbia . Just thought i'd add this, might help.
