Dont I know it ;D All of the MSF classes are $50 on matter what your taking. And if that's to rich for you you can still take the riding test at the DMV. However are we comparing apples with apples here. 3 full days including the written and physical license test also providing the bike along the fuel? Yes 3 days bike and fuel and all The MSF has only one set of classes. They are the same where ever you take them. The state of Ohio subsidizes the classes. |

Now something I don't get is the wide range in cost for a MSF class. Here in Ohio its only fifty bucks.  |

ive found my scoot fits nicely in the back of a dodge minivan that gets about 20mpg. ive bought many scoots with that van. you have to take the seats out, but they leave great cargo strap attachment points. it rolls right into the side door great, mirrors usually have to come off, but the sliding side door has a taller opening than the rear. What kind of scoot? I have a Helix clone...it's a BIG scooter and I can't imagine it fitting in a minivan. With all its storage. I thought the Helix was a minivan ;D |

Why don't you get a real bike is just a code word for. I want to show the world that I am and individual so I buy in to the marketing hype and go in hock up to my eye balls. On a bike that scares the heck out of me. Then I will put a whole 200 miles in a season but only if it sunny between 70F and 75F and (fill in the blank lets me). And then to show my individuality I go down to the bike shop and buy all the right clothes so I can look like every one else. What! you want me to learn to ride . I have better things to spend my money on than rider training like the latest chrome doohickey that every one else has. Practice I don't have time to practice that chrome won't polish it's self you know. How dare you have more riding skills than me on a ride that cost less than what I pay on insurance. Your are having to much fun get back in line and be and individual like me.  |

There are to camps when it come to shifting. One is that shifting is a means to and end its what you do to get from point A to point B. Two is shifting is an end all in to its self. I am in the first camp I was running everything with a clutch on the farm by the time I was 9 years old. I have driven everything right up to 18 wheelers. For the life of me I cant understand why, some folks think a simple skill makes them better than some one else  |

domindart yep they can this happened on the Nitro 150 I had.
Started out it would start but you you had to keep your hand on the gas till it warmed up to keep running.
Then a few days later it would not start at all gaped the vales and would start one touch of the starter.
At 5200 miles the OP got a good run before needing a valve adjustment.

How many miles are on her? It wouldn't hurt the check the valve gaps seeing how you have the seat off.
Was there old gas still in the tank? It mite need the carb cleaned as well.

In Ohio there is no such thing as scooters you have mopeds no more than 2.5 bhp and no faster than 25mph on flat ground.
Everything else is a motorcycle that needs tags title and insurance and a M permit.
On the bright side the state does help fund the MSF so the BRC only costs $50.

If the penetrating oil isn't working the next step would be a gear puller. To pull the tire and spacer off the shaft.
When you do get it off and its time to put it back on.
Use a good coating of a anti-seize paste on the shaft and in the spacer/collar.
Using this when you reassemble means the the next time it has to come off it will do so easily. I always use a product called Never- Seize.

Ted please dont take this the wrong way.
But unless that new muffler was made from spent uranium the weight will not effect any thing that you will notice.
Just like a straight pipe by its self will not increase performance unless you increase air and fuel coming in at the same time.
Its a package deal to get any increase worth having, you have to do the whole package or your just wasting time and money.
