I park I the closet spot. Sometimes on sidewalk outside store but that's rare. I don't use any locks, well on occasion a disc alarm. If I had to chain it up everywhere I'd stop ridding.
Maybe I've just been lucky but I've never had a problem.

I wish that would just rents trikes and scoupe coupes. I know that doesn't fix stupid but it takes the balance part out of it for the inexaperienced. Heck, most of these kids know days have never even rode a bicycle and just jump on like that know what's going on. IMO the problem here in Florida is the "no license of any kind required" for under 50 cc not the rentals themselves.

I'll let those that know better give details but I didn't think the honda clone CN 250 is a GY6 but I'm not the motor builder guy.

Question? He made a total of 18k with both jobs and even if he had children and got earned income credit, there is no way he would have got 8k back in taxes? How could he think this and how could you believe it? JR Good question..... Of course the OP thinks this is the best place to get legal advise so leave it up to your imagination. He should check here where I get my scooter advise...... forum.freeadvice.comwww.expertlaw.com/forums/TwIsTeD

Yes. I should also add energy independence as another excuse for the force feed. Maybe they though that rehashing the work gasohol wasn't good pr.....

Back decades ago when they were trying to push gasohol, Dad got a tank-full that had its proportions seriously jacked. I don't remember what the symptoms were (I was really young). But I do remember Dad coming back from the mechanic and telling Mom they had to replace pretty much everything that gas came in contact with--including the tank. It apparently was eating through everything. And all it took was one tank of too-high additive. Car never did run quite right after that. Hey, you olders--what was it they added to gasohol, anyway? And why is it they can cram crapanol down our fuel lines today, when they couldn't force gasohol on us back then?>'Kat Back in the gasohol days it was a true "green agenda" that had little legal bite. Now the politicos in the big corn producing states have cut deals with their cronies to move an overload of corn. Making alcohol and adding it to the fuel supply has a way of moving huge volumes of corn, and keeping those states economy going. Now the Feds are using "green" as an an excuse for mandating E10. So they produce even more corn and that brings us to.... E15 coming soon.

I called my attorney after two weeks of chasing the distributer. He contacted the State AGs office along with the Letters to the offender. First they were to send the correct MCO but after another three weeks of waiting still had nothing.
Next round of letters got a response and info on how to return the scooter, return auth number, carrier info etc. it took the carrier about two weeks to contact me and another two to pick it up. About a week in transit and the distributer got in contact with my lawyer to let them know that they were no longer fighting the chargeback.
So in the end it was more like three months by the time I heard from visa letting me know the chargeback was final. At the time my attorney was also my business lawyer so he did it for very little money.
I wish you nothing but the best.

I had the same problem with a different online vender two years ago. After a Visa chargeback and letters from my attorney it got sorted out, but it took 4 months.
It's not a question of if they meant to screw you it's the frustration of not being able to get any kind of response in a reasonable amount of time. They always seem to get the charging your account part correct.
Sure mistakes can happen at a brick and mortar dealer but the difference is you can walk into the dealership and they have no choice to but to acknowledge your presence. Not true in the Internet dealer world. It's my belief that they don't intend to screw you but don't really care if that's the way it works out. Just my opinion.
I got burned once and that was enough to send me to a local shop for the china scoot I could have bought online. I paid a couple of hundred more but I picked it up ready to roll and had people to complain to , face to face, if things went sour.
I hope things get worked out for you soon.

The problem here in Southwestern IN is they don't teach kid's traffic safety the way they did 30 yrs. ago. Now you walk against the flow of traffic for safety. So kids being smarter than adults, take it upon themselves to ride their bikes in the same fashion. When they go to highschool they don't teach drivers training anymore. Only the well to do can afford to pay for it themselves. So if they can start riding a moped at 15 all that is required a helmet and registration sticker, and they don't have to wait till they are 18 to get a operator license without drivers training. I learned at a young age things break, and it is very costly to fix or replace them. Kid's don't think that way any more . They think they are mini adults. They don't care how long you have been here,or what you had to do without to get as far as you have in life. It's a mess out there and when someone tries to fix it, someone else just want's to get rid of it altogether. I personally new the man who fought to get mopeds back in Indiana. He is most likely gone by now it's been 30+yrs. Back then his scooters came from Europe. I don't know if anyone remembers Gary's MoPed Center or Batavus Mid-America. A lot has changed since then. Any how the update is if they can pull you over for anything, Evanspatch Indiana they will. My scooter is 2 yrs. old and it only has 265 kilometers on it. Scooter theft is bad here, and I don't ride it much because I don't want to get pulled over for a light out. Or even worse going 28 mph. and not 25. Here if they tow your scoot they will damage it one way or another and it is expensive to get it out of impound. Here all scooter's are sold to someone in Louisville Ky. so the parts can not be reused, or the scoots rebuilt. I have not heard how things went in the capitol this week. When I find out l'll let you know. :-) Those are things you can be pulled over for in any vehicle so the same should be true for scooters.

Again nobody has answered my question. How is it that regulating mopeds or scooters is an undue burden. . Every other motor vehicle on the road needs a licensed driver and registration. I'm always baffled at how some think a scooter or moped should be immune to proper regulation for on-road use. Ohhh I have no problem with it except, I think the laws should be uniform accost the State. not one rule in one county and a different rule in the next.. Just as our Drivers License's are. Thank you sir for the clarification. Yeah that's screwed up I had no idea each county had its own laws.
