Received a free Lithium battery from one of my wholesalers. He asked that I do a review and send it to them. Looks good so far. Same size as our YTX7A-BS batteries that weigh 5.5-6lbs. This one weighs 1.2lbs. It also has almost twice the CCA of the YTX7A-BS. As a test I tried it on a Kawasaki 500 UTV that has a 10 amp battery. Cranked it over like it was nothing. More to come when I finish the review....this thing looks promising! Also has a built in battery charge level meter so you did need to dig out your multimeter. Attachments:

Another thing you can do.... Is ask to see the radar gun or dash mounted device...it stores the info. My brother has done that twice..the Officer got pissed..said no...and let him off on a warning. So now...if you are guilty of something..by law you are covered under your 5th Amendment and allowed to see any evidence. If he won't show you something is up. i.e. lying to you. The one time the State fella stooped me for going 52..I asked and he showed me. he was the one I mentioned in a previous post that asked if I was gonna ride that fast...to wear a helmet. Told me it was safer that we be able to not be going 30 when traffic on those back roads id 55 and most cars run down them at 60+. But warned me that his Comrades did not see it that way..so be careful as they stick to the 30mph law. I knew I was going 52 as my speedo will GPS at only about 1mph off.One advantage to the big wide n tall 12" tires I have is that it puts our speedo somehwere close to reality and accuracy. But again..ask to see the Radar unit. By law he must show you any evidence per the 5th Amendment which says we cannot be implicated without evidence. Up until the point you are shown the evidence it your word against his. If you take it to court remind the Judge about the 5th and ask to see the evidence. If the Officer refuses to show you and gets angry...it's quite obvious you just called his lying out. My cousin is a Trucker and he has used this in court many times...mentioned he was not shown...the device stores the info and he would like to be shown that evidence. However 5 times of being stopped...only once was it dropped because he was not shown evidence. The other 4 he was implicated by word of mouth. Sad part is I have been on many runs with him. We ran Cherries or Blueberries to Boston..and brought back loads of Cod Fish. We were stopped quite a few times for nothing..as they looked for something. I was confused each time...but my cousin said.."Dude this happens all the time...for some reason the Highway Patrol hates us Truckers" which to me seemed plausible as they had no probable cause...and found nothing wrong. Told him.."I'm gonna let ya go..be safe out there." and similar things. Let him go? From what offense?? I shouted out the window like the angry dipshit I was.... He just turned off his lights and drove off. So ya never know what is gonna happen during a stop. But do know one thing...you have the RIGHT to see evidence according to the 5th Amendment. NOT BASHING LAW ENFORCEMENT..let me make that clear. But they are there to uphold the Constitution yet few even know any of the Articles. One example..gf was stopped for not making a complete stop at a sign. We were told to get out of the car..she was patted down and car was searched. Just outta the blue I said.."Sir why are you searching the car without permission or a warrant..that violates her 3rd Amendment(which as you know is NOT about illegal search and seizure) he said..no joke..."Under her 3rd Amendment I do have the right if I suspect Illegal activity or contraband" gave me a good laugh inside..thinking how you enforce the law when ya don't know what it is...

All depends on what 'bells n whistles' you put on. i have seen one hit 58mph with the 100 BBK. But it had lots of performance stuff... i.e. oversized variator..changed out clutch and contra springs...'up geared the secondary gear set...hi po exhaust etc. All depends on if you...like one of my customers are willing to put 600 bux parts in a 600 dollar scooter. Lil rich kid he is...he did...but when I rode it anything over 50mph was a wild n scary ride on those tiny 10 inch wheels... One unseen pothole at 50 mph with a 10 inch wheel...and brother...you are toast!!.. So start working on writing your eulogy.. Hi Glenn My Puma Had 10s and i loved the ride, so nimble and agille And even at45mph+ speeds the ride was smooth and very stable Man i sure miss that scoot Take care and ride safely dear friend Yours Hank Now the Puma and other Znen scoots I will admit are in a different league. That is why I call them the Cadillac of scoots. They ride nice and smooth. The screamer this kid had built was a Panterra Fusion sold by pep boys years ago. They had front and rear drum brakes and no real shocks to speak of...more like just springs and a leading axle with spring up front. Steel warped rims and way out of balance tires. Here is a pic of one. Attachments:

My scooter always said on the analog tac it was going 43mph on flat surface. A lot of people are saying that there scooters stock would only go 30-35mph max stock. So I decided to use my gps and go for a ride. Again, I never went down any hills just straight road and hit 39.7mph. So my question is, how fast would it go with a 100cc BBK and all the bells and wistles? Thanks sean All depends on what 'bells n whistles' you put on. i have seen one hit 58mph with the 100 BBK. I just a 'freebie' YTX7A-BS size lithium battery from my wholesaler who wants me to do a revue and try it on many things...scoot..jet ski..go carts etc. So far I have this to say..impressive! Same dimensions as the standard YTX7A-BS most scooters use..but nearly twice the CCA! It has a built in tester..to check charge push the button and you get 'low'...'medium' and 'full' charge so need to know how to use a multimeter! It's a real no brainer. When I first opened the box I thought it was just a battery case...empty..as it was so light. Getting out my digital scale it weighs 1.22lbs...and my 'normal' YTX7A-BS battery weighs 5.5-6lbs depending on which brand it it. This is gonna be a fun review. ;D Just for fun we tested it on the neighbors 500cc Kawasaki UTV that uses a 12 v 12ah battery. Spun that thing over like it was nothing. More to follow after a full eval and write up for the company.

A radar detector is nice. Got mine from Ebay from China.(Yes the Chinese thing really does work) It was under $20.00 shipped...the size of a pack of smokes and is mounted under my front cowl.It covers all bands and is works out to 1,000 yards! I even tested it. But problems are...you can't hear the 'beep beep' as it's under the cowl..plus engine and road noise. So I wired an LED to the speaker wires..drilled a small hole and silicone glued it into my speedo area. Fixed that..works well. I live in a small town and they stop scoots all the time...for no probable cause.Ask what their probable cause was and they say "I don't need one..you watch too much tv." Anyway all the roads around me are country roads and nothing but farmland. We have a bad problem with Meth Labs out here..so the State boys patrol the back roads heavily. There is very little traffic and therefore I am often the only one on the road or within those 1,000 yards range of the detector... So if his radar goes off..well they know it is me. (only happened once and all he said was."If you are going to go 50mph,please wear a helmet".. so I got lucky. In bigger towns...the city..or heavily traveled roads they would be effective. But I keep in my head if I am ever stopped for violating Michigan's 30mph Moped/Scooter law..I am wrong and they are right...AND for the first time ever...they will actually have a 'probable cause' www.ebay.com/itm/Full-Band-Car-Radar-Detectors-Voice-for-GPS-Navigator-A380-HOT-BE0D-/130760677259?pt=US_Radar_Laser_Detectors&hash=item1e71f1978bMy only question is, By the time the radar detector detects the radar, the cop has already 'radar'ed ya. Meaning he's already got your speed by the time the detector detects......never mind You know what I mean. Exactly!! Since I am typically the only vehicle on these back roads.. In a more populated area it would be more difficult for him. But when I am the only one out there..well..gee it has to be me going that fast. The one Officer did tell me..when he sees a scoot going that fast..he assumes it's a plated and insured 150cc or more according to the speed of travel...vice a 50cc decal only required scooter. It isn't until he passes them and looks back to see if it has a plate or decal...that he can tell. But he was more concerned about my not wearing a helmet at that speed...rather than speeding. My LED lit up while he was just a speck on the horizon..but as you said..by then he had already got me.
