My scooter always said on the analog tac it was going 43mph on flat surface. A lot of people are saying that there scooters stock would only go 30-35mph max stock. So I decided to use my gps and go for a ride. Again, I never went down any hills just straight road and hit 39.7mph. So my question is, how fast would it go with a 100cc BBK and all the bells and wistles?
Thanks sean

But it had lots of performance stuff... i.e. oversized variator..changed out clutch and contra springs...'up geared the secondary gear set...hi po exhaust etc. All depends on if you...like one of my customers are willing to put 600 bux parts in a 600 dollar scooter. Lil rich kid he is...he did...but when I rode it anything over 50mph was a wild n scary ride on those tiny 10 inch wheels... One unseen pothole at 50 mph with a 10 inch wheel...and brother...you are toast!!.. So start working on writing your eulogy..

That is why I call them the Cadillac of scoots. They ride nice and smooth. The screamer this kid had built was a Panterra Fusion sold by pep boys years ago. They had front and rear drum brakes and no real shocks to speak of...more like just springs and a leading axle with spring up front. Steel warped rims and way out of balance tires. Here is a pic of one. Attachments:

Just be careful guys if the scoot has small wheels, very dangerous going at those speeds on something that was made to go in the 30s. Alleyoop
