What would I do with it? Put it around your neck...hang a clock from it and look like 'Flava Flave'..you know...make a fashion statement. Or buy 2..cut them..then glue them together..now they are long enough for your Scoot. Use it on the Lawn Tractor as a drive belt for the cutting deck...since it is a 2T item..rpms would be way up...and you could cut yer grass in 1/2 the time. Put in on Ebay...telling them it is a rare collectors item with only 150 made. It was an OEM part for the extremely hard to find 1904 3 cylinder 214cc Webley Vickers British made Motorcycle...only sold to and used by 'Meter Maids' back in the day.

Ok..here is the deal on how I did it. My belt broke...called a buddy with a truck. We loaded the scoot up and headed home..interstate speed limit is 70...but we.... AND my Scoot..were going 75mph. Try to beat that speed with your Scoot. Unless you have a Tao Tao stock ATM-50...you won't even get close to the 60mph those things can hit on a daily basis. Hi Glenn Ya had me going there for a bit Wait until i build up "April" 70+mph is in her future Thing is i dont know if i should just go with a 70 cc BBK which would get me those speeds or go all out with a 90cc bbk 80+ mph any one? Takr care and ride safely dear friend Yours Hank As I told ya earlier..I read up on that Ditech engine. First look I said.."ok..it's a Minarelli engine..big whoop" But then when I got into the tech part of it..the type of metals used....tolerances for parts fit....precision balancing and induction system and a Dyno print out. I about poopied in my drawers. Widest power band print out I've ever seen. Many are 'Hitting the pipe' 6,000-8,000 then peter out of the powerband. The Ditech showed it spent most of its rpm range in the powerband. Dyno showed just at twice the torque and hp as our 'run of the mill' Minarelli's at 50cc. They posted that they were going to BBK it to 72cc and test it again. Date of the article is over 15 months old...and still no BBK update. So I posted to see if they did it and what the results were. If you hop that thing up..ya better keep us posted. Oh..also they said it would turn 12,000 rpm with ease due the forged con rod..precision balanced crank(which looks like a 'stuffer crank' to me..which I've never seen on a stock ride. Is yours a stuffer or full circle crank? Oh..funny part..for comparison they used a stock Minarelli...it was lame in comparison. Then they used some sort of forced induction..was hard to hear and see in the short poor quality vid..but it appeared to be a turbo charger made for Minarelli's?? Never heard of one..maybe they built it? It ran well until they put that on. The extra boost was more than the con rod and crank could take at 11,000 rpm and pieces of both blew holes and shrapnel though the engine block. As for me..I am looking for a 90cc crank case...but talk about hard to find. Wow! ..it was easier for me to find 'Waldo'...

Good thing it's not a car here in Michigan. Plate cost is derived from the current selling price of your car. Our 2002 PT Cruiser plate $140.00 per year. If you have a 10 yo car that cost $12,000 back then..and now sells for $18,000...it is based on the new cost. I almost blew a gasket after paying them..but...a lady in line next to me bought tags for her Cadillac Escalade...$328.00...'cha ching!'...gone is that huge chunk of change lady..kiss next months groceries goodbye... They say the money goes for the roads..but if any of you have driven on Michigan roads...you will know..that in just a 5 mile drive....you can use a whole tank of gas just driving around pot holes and sink holes. So somebodies wallet is getting fat...and it isn't the State Road Commission..

Must be a very steep down hill grade. Wasn't even a stock Tao Tao ATM-50 either..was my 2T Jonway.. But it has been said that the Tao Tao ATM-50 is far superior in power to even a BBK 2T. So I may sell my 2T and get one. Actually with the value of my Jonway Hornet 2t...I could sell it and buy 2 of those. What fool wouldn't want to straddle all that power. Also since they go 60 stock..I can't fathom what I will have when I put a 52mm BBK..oversized variator...6 gram sliders...pump the tires to 40 psi... Then mix 10w-30 with 10w-40 cause that has been proven to REALLY turn on the power of those when you mix the oils.

Yee haw!! My Jonway Hornet 2T with BBK hit 75mph today...didn't even have to put 40psi in the tires or mix 10w-30 and 10w-40 for the speed increase. Which is well known for making your stock Tao Tao 50cc..hit 60mph.

It really comes down to if your scooter or bike has more balls than your state "moped" laws, then you need to register and plate it---therefore you'll need MORE than just a license. There really doesn't seem to be very many specific details other than defining what an actual scooter is. Lately here..it has been whatever the Officer feels like citing you for. But the locals give in and just pay the ticket. Until the other day a lady took it to court with a copy of the DOT regulations. She never even had to pull them out. The Judge she said...took his Glasses off..called the Officer forward to the Bench...then said to him.."Do you even know what you are doing out there?" She told me try as she might..as hard as she could..a giggle in the Court Room busted out..she was shocked to see a Judge say that in front of all those people..

Of course this monster BBQ has been over at our local high school a few times too. Both of these monsters are from Texas too. Those homecoming pregame ultimate tailgate party kind of things "The Ultimate Smoker and Grill": But even it was made small by this one here: Only in America would you make a grill so large as to need a semi to haul it. Agreed...as every man knows..it's not the size...it's how you use it. Yup...umm..that is how it is with Grills..

[replyingto=millsc]millsc[/replyingto]millsc...with all yer mad 4T skills..you know the answer bud.. Stator or Rectifier/Regulator.....is most likely the culprit. Check your voltage with engine off..then check again with engine running with a bit higher than fast idle rpm...and see what voltage is then.
