Hello
I'am in the market for another scooter and saw what Walmart has on line. I don't need the top of the line unit
I like a 150 with the 13 inch tires and wheels and long wheel base
One site is Walmart web site and I notice that threw them i can get a Taotao scooter for a good price including shipping.
Has anybody delt with them ? how soon did the scooter arive ? I have herd that it take a long time to get A title the price looks rite
The unit i saw was A RED Taotao Quantum Tour 150cc Gas Street Legal Scooter $ 999.00 including shipping.
I realize thay have a deal with Tx Power Sports.I'am open to other makes and models i just don't want a bad unit Or a Wildfire brand scooter
Has ant body delt with them before?
Is there a better place to deal with?
I don't have a local dealer near Middlefield Ohio 44062 to deal with I do my own maitience and trouble shooting on my scooter.

Hello
My 2005 Vento 150 cc keeps burning out the starter switch i have burn out 4 of the all ready i bypass the original starter switch a few years a go
i wired it to by pass the starter relay and after a week or 2 it burns out the starter switch i have tried a hd switch with the same issue .
any ideas where i can find a better universal starter switch or better way to wire one in?
Please let me know.

For your info jumping off a battery charger or a vehicle battery can kill your electrical system. It's because of the amps also I would check All your wires on the scooter for any burned wire
And check your fuses.

I had a slow rim leak I use a can of fix a flat one thing it fixed the rim leak and balance the tire just like the beeds

I bought a Ryobi reconditioned recharge inpact years ago it has never failed to get any parts off my scooters it's worth the exact money. I bought them At a Ryobi outlet store plus I have baught a lot of there other power tools. The good thing thay have been using the same battery setup for years the one thing I do is buy the longer use battery it last all day.

I did a similar cut out but first I got some JB weld And aluminum door screen and attached the screen to the inside of the cut out with JB weld it has held for over 5 years now with no problems

Put a full charge on your battery first then try the turn signals if the turn signals work then it not your flasher . the horn issue is all the horn on these scooter are wimpy.

I might your ancer
I have a 2008 Short wheel base engine it had 13 inch wheels on it it had 400 miles on it. It does not have any extra parts on it the motor has never been open up.no stator,no brakes I baught the scooter and the wire harness shorted out so I used the parts off it for my other scooter.
With my back I needed a longer frame.
I live in Middlefield Ohio 44062. 40 miles south east of Cleveland Ohio
If you can use it let me know.

Check your coil make sure the wire are on the right terminal if they are reverse you would not have any spark . check your spark plug wire I would replace it first the boot that goes to the spark are known to be bad the good news your local Auto parts store cary it.

My vento died on the road this morning it Lost all power the good news i had a spare cdi under the seat I replace it seems to run fine after 20 miles I learned my lesson by keeping spare parts under the seat. It saved my today once in a while it would die out on me start back up I think the cdi will be the perament fix.

I had a similar issue with my vinto it turned out I had a block fule filter in the gas tank also I would go to a smaller in line fule filter because the one you have the fule pump can't keep up with it so you might be getting more air then fule.

When I cut the circle out on my side cover on The back I got some aluminum screen And JB weld and attached the screen to the inside of the cover not only did it keep the motor running cooler it makes the drive belt last longer because I understand heat will cause more break down when the belt gets to hot. Over 5 plus years the screen hasn't come off yet.

Hello
I have a 2004 vento 150 scooter doesn't change at 2000 rpm I noticed the horn doesn't work until till it runs for 30 minutes.i plan on replacing the battery next week because it's over 3 years old . do I have a voatage regular going bad ? I replace the stator 2 years ago. The battery will charge but not enough to Crank the starter and has a week Horn a couple hours later scooter battery will be dead just sitting.
