Bought it from a guy that only put 550 miles on it and put it in his shed. It sat for 5 years. He had another one same year, make and miles but I sold it after I got it running. Got both for $400 and he tossed in a Honda Spree for free.

Not sure if this is correct or not but it says they shipped priority. I only payed for flat rate. I'll find out I guess when USPS updates so I can use the tracking number.

Is there a good place to order jets besides Scrappy. It looks like they have nothing between the and . I was thinking I would need a and 92 also just to play it safe.

Running a 50mm BBK with stock air box and exhaust what range of jets should I buy? I already have a performance air intake from a scrap scooter that I saved just in case I have a issue with running to rich.

I have followed your build and have it booked marked for easy locating along with a few other. We are about the same weight so 45-50 is my goal. Thanks for great info you shared this week about your build.

So I have been reading on here and ScootDawg since Sept. of last year when I bought my first ever scooter. I have been buying and selling fixer uppers since as a hobby because not much money can be made in PCB on used scooters. After tinkering around with and learning about scooters and how they work I have decided to start my own 50cc speed monster, if you can call them that. This morning I ordered this BBK kit. www.spi-parts.com/gy6-airsal-81cc-big-bore-cylinder-kit-02350150.html and I will slowly be adding more parts over the summer in my quest for the 45-50 mph. I will be asking a lot of questions and posting a lot of pics as the build is in progress. Now all I can do is wait on my BBK being sent flat rate shipping from California to Florida. Excited as one can be right now. Let the fun begin. Attachments:

Check your diaphgram, take the top off and pull out it out and check for rips and or tiny holes appears you have the throttle wide open and then the needle drops and you have nothing but air. Alleyoop Thanks Alleyoop. you nailed it. Changed it out with one from spare carb and it runs like a champ again. I didn't see any holes or rips but it was really funny looking compared to the other one. lots of waves in it. Attachments:

Scooter has been running fine. Took it out for a 30 mile trip today and it ran great. After getting home I decided to run to the store and made it about a block. Anything past a third throttle and the RPMs start jumping up and down. Checked CDI, Coil, Plug, Air/Fuel Mixture and choke. Now I'm just confused. PCB
