Taking half of your rollers out isn't going to get you where you want to be. By reducing the weight that much it will rev high and lose top speed.

They have some eBay 50mm kits that are decent. Also putting in some of scrappys gears will make a huge difference. Don't not put in gears unless you put in the bbk first. Your scooter wouldn't pull the taller gear. Now if you are not on a tight budget you can get the 50mm airsal kit that runs good with a stock head. Everything depends on your budget and how fast you want to go. Mill has built a few speed demons and can direct you in any direction you like. he built a 55+ mph gps but that type of build isn't for the budget minded person.

You can get the a/f mixture right but I'm sure the results will be the same when trying to keep up on the long stretches. If it really bothers you that he is faster (my ego is wired that way) then you can budget build to beat him. Well that is if you're a wrencher. For 100-120 you'll be able to beat him with ease. It also never hurts to have the extra power to get out of bad situations.

Punch that thing out to with a 50mm piston and some scrappy gears. I weigh 250 and can hit 45 +/- depending on wind conditions.

Could be the (secret 63) or it could as easily be the weights in the variator.

Oh I forgot to mention the gear install. I don't know of a visor out there but if you did you own bbk then a gear install will be very easy for you.

Just adding a bigger piston will not make you gain speed if you are maxing out your variator already. It will give you more torque which you seem to be getting since you can hold up hill speed now. Did you use a performance head with bigger valves? If you're going to pull a 18/46 gear you will need all the power you can get. Mill, has also recommends a few heads that work well for more power.

I have said this many times and I'll say it once more. If you need a part right away always call and order or call before making your online order. Some people act as if these suppliers are making the parts themselves. They get these parts for over seas and sometimes it takes weeks to get parts for them. They have to deal with customs in top of that. If you think it's bad waiting for one part you should try waiting on a whole shipping container like they do.

A Cdi isn't going to give you what you want. A bbk and and 16/50 gears will be the route I would suggest.

Also put a 12v adaptor on your scooter and you can use it for changing phones, gps or running the impact so you don't have to take the battery cover off.

My speedo goes farther then what you are showing yours in the pic. Mine goes under the bright light indicator. My gps top speed so far is 45 with the speedo maxed out like that.
