Well my headlight bulbs came in... wrong bulbs so I ordered what I hope will be the correct bulb and it should be here soon. I took the scooter down a pretty good down hill road the other day, first time since putting the CDI and coil on and lets just say I wish I had the gps going, the speedometer needle was well past where it should ever go. It was actually well past my turn signal indicators. I have to say I was easily at 60+mph and revving really high so I let off. I was in a tuck and the air was cool so I am sure that helped. Next time I will GPS it. You will find that the speedo and GPS will show a huge difference if your scooter was showing 60+ mph.

Hold it up to a light and see if you have a small hole in it anywhere.

Sure have. If you google 600cc ruckus you will pull all kinds of information up about the build. I'm glad the guy used a clone instead of chopping up a good ruckus.

When I let a friend of a friend test ride it , he had the cash in his hand before he came to a stop . He had a stock restricted moped that the engine failed and he needed a scooter ASAP . I let a freind ride mine the other day to work because his car was messed up. When he dropped it back off to me he was amazed about how fast it went compared to the local rental scooters. He is now interested in buying a scooter and building it.

I would have put a couple of removable frame supports coming over the motor and connecting at the front of the seat.

If it is was sent as email then he can share it anywhere he wants.
Also after the six months he has the right to decide if he wants to be a part of that forum or any forum. He chose not to be for his reasons only he knows. Maybe he decided for the same reason you chose this site (more traffic).
Maybe the owners and admins on the other site should have offered (pay for six month and get six for free) instead of just giving it away. I see that as being their fault. If you offer me something six months for free without any strings attached I'm taking it.
Also post are property of the person writing them and not the forum in most cases. In this case he has the right to share his knowledge when and where he wants. Notice he didn't go into detail of why he wanted to leave. He did not dog them. He simply removed his post and they reposted them and banned him. That site has a history of taking post from other sites as well.

He isn't talking about a 50cc. The scooter he is talking about would have I be registered as a motorcycle in any state.

"Salvage-Stolen"? Seems like that would be a little more clear on that. Not sure how it can be both. If you have a cop buddy I would have him run the vin to see if you have a stolen scooter. If it is I would get rid of it and by get rid of it I mean local dump or if you want to turn it in and let the police contact the previous legal owner.
